Best home security camera or cctv
Best security camera or cctv. It has 360 degree rotation, very good camera quality and picture clarity with minimum lag or delay. The two way calling is a game changer feature. It has instant person or motion detection and memory card saves recording of about 5 days. Price is though high it for the quality in comparison to similar cameras of the other brands but seems worth it to me.

Never buy this product !
It only and only works with Alexa, but Google Home support is limited, and Apple HomeKit is not supported at all.App Performance is Region Dependent,The Mi Home app may have server performance issues in some countries, resulting in slower loading times or delayed notifications.Pan/Tilt Motor Noise,The motorized 360° feature makes noticeable noise when rotating, which can be distracting in quiet environments.Heat Build-Up During Prolonged Use,The unit may get warm if left on 24/7, which may concern some users regarding long-term durability. No Ethernet Port,Purely Wi-Fi based; no option to use wired LAN for more stable connectivity.Build is Lightweight, Not Tamper-Proof,It's made of plastic and lightweight, which makes it easy to knock over or tamper with, especially if not wall-mounted.

Just Awesome!!!
High-Resolution Video Quality (2K) provides a clear, sharp video footage, which makes it easier to identify faces and objects compared to standard 1080p cameras, The wide dynamic range (WDR) helps the camera adjust better to varying light conditions, ensuring clarity in both bright and dark areas.this camera offers 360-degree panoramic coverage, thanks to its motorized pan and tilt functionality. This ensures there are no blind spots, and users can remotely control the camera's movement through the Mi Home app.The camera is equipped with AI-powered motion detection, which helps reduce false alarms by differentiating between human movements and other motion (e.g., pets or moving curtains). This feature enhances home security by sending real-time alerts only when relevant activity is detected. The infrared night vision is another plus, allowing the camera to capture clear footage even in complete darkness. The best is the built-in two-way audio allows users to communicate through the camera via the Mi Home app., when you have a young baby and need to watch from another location or room, this would help you a lot.The Mi app is just great, fast automatic configuration. It's ideal for anyone seeking a reliable indoor surveillance camera that doesn't compromise on quality despite its lower price point.

Not as good as advertised
The camera is ok. I am running a 64 GB card which backs up approximately a week's worth of footage. Installation and setup was easy, just needs a stable wifi. Can cover a wide area with 360° rotation and field of view is good too. I am getting notifications too about events unlike many others. The quality is decent but that's about it for its features. Now for the issues-1. I chose this over its competitors due to NAS but it's just a gimmick. My laptop, phone and all other devices can recognise my NAS but this camera couldn't. I tried all tricks in the book(rather the internet) but it just couldn't recognise my NAS.2. Other cameras has motion/subject tracking, this doesn't.3. It doesn't recognise half of the activities. I have it faced at the entry gate of my house. It gives notification about some random activity where some pixel has changed but half of the activities happening right infront of it isn't recognised. I have passed so many times infront of it, even faced it, but it only captured my activity once. Its activity recognition is not to be dependent upon, you would have to review your footage manually.4. If you have to download a portion of the video to your local device, you have to press the record button while running the footage and then let it run at 1X. I can't just point it to the first and last point on the timeline and let it finish NOOOOO, you can't even speed up the footage while "recording", you would have to sit there and wait for the footage you've reviewed 10 times to record again.5. The camera quality is not very good. The picture is grainy and not very clear. The quality (if judged by the resolution) is better on the realme cam at the same price.6. The playback at 16X sometimes is very jittery. It gets stuck so much that it renders that feature completely useless sometimes but other times works fine.7. Oh and good forbid you lose your internet connection, it'll stop recording altogether. I had my internet go out for a couple of hours but I thought that it might be writing that data on the SD card since writing there won't require any internet connection. When the internet connected again, the footage of that time was just missing. WHY?8. This is just a minor bug that the camera calibration button in the app has no confirmation message. If you accidently press it, it'll just start calibrating. There should be a confirmation popup on it like we have on delete. There might be some other issues which I'm forgetting but this is the crux of it. I wish I had purchased the realme cam but I can't say for sure if that would not have these or some other issues.

Comprehensive Assessment: Xiaomi MI Wireless Home Security Camera 2i vs Competitors
Considering competitors like TP-Link Tapo and Qubo by Vivo, this Xiaomi camera seems quite expensive, priced almost between 900-1300 INR. When it comes to features, it falls short in some aspects, such as limited memory card support. Yet, the app interface stands out with an impressive rating of 4.5 out of 5 for connectivity. The camera excels in various aspects, with picture quality, mic, speaker/loudness, latency (dependent on internet speed), night vision, and alerts all receiving a commendable rating of 4.5/5 each.In my opinion, acquiring this camera for 2500-2999 INR is not justified. As of February 2024, Xiaomi's camera seems to lag behind its competitors. Instead, you can opt for any TP-Link Tapo model, which is almost 2x cheaper with double the features. Please read reviews for details. One exception is the "TP-Link Tapo C220," which I recommend avoiding (read review for reasons).
