Love this thing!
I got this to add to my mini "videography studio in a carryon case." It's the perfect. lightweight-yet-sturdy tripod for my phone or camcorder when I'm shooting podcasts or talking head videos. It also works like a light pole (long selfie stick actually) for making fun videos and fake, "low-flying" drone shots. I love the clips for holding each section in place - very well-made. The remote is a wonderful addition as well. I am very happy with this portable and functional product!

Honestly surprised at the quality of this
For $20, I don’t think you can beat the functionality. I looked at so many selfie sticks for my gopro. This one ticked off all the boxes I was looking for-Also a tripod-Also VERY tall-Turning base knob screw (This is so underrated)-Switch locks (for fast operation) and not twist locks or even worse, twist locking function that had an internal locking mechanism and no nodes-Very affordable ($30 with a 10 dollar coupon)I only wish the top was either made of a sturdy aluminum, or just a plain 1/4 in screw. Only time will tell if that part will fail. It’s the only thing I can see failing from the immense screw torque I use. Besides the actual pole portion and blue screw, everything else is a hard plastic. But at least it’s a sturdy solid plastic, not cheap feeling. What do you really expect for $20.MEASUREMENTS (with GoPro sized action cam on top for weight):No legs extended (from bottom of hand grip to turning knob base)No legs extended- 14 inches1 leg extended- 22.5 inches; Literally no flex (also what I feel would be the most used for selfie stick applications)2 legs extended- 31.5 inches; virtually no flex3 legs extended- 42 inches; maybe 1-2mm of flex but not noticeable unless you’re nitpickingAll 4 legs extended- 52.5 inches, 3-4mm inches of flex but I doubt anyone will be using the full extension as a selfie stick. Really meant for tripod use.In conclusion; Solid build for the price. It would be hard to find another TALL selfie stick tripod at this price.

Surprise!!!
Ok I have to admit I go through soo many tripods a year. I use them for my phone not only for pictures but to watch shows while at work. I'm constantly moving them from counter to counter to sinks and window sills, wherever I am in my store I move them around with me. Well when I received this I was like OMG it's huge. Thinking well I have nothing else ill use for now til I can get another one. I basically just ordered whatever popped up. I've had it for a bit and by now it should be cracked or something wrong with it but nope it's still like new and the fact it's soo nice and tall I don't need to fit it on the counters or sinks or sills. I can leave it on the floor and still enjoy watching shows while I work. It's sturdy and absolutely incredible for the price. Also used it foe pictures with family!! It's perfect and can be any height I wish.

It’s ok.
I’ve had it for just a week or so, and these are my initial impressions. It’s a nice little tripod for a cell phone, and the height it reaches is impressive. It’s lightweight. That’s the good news. The downside: the legs’ length can’t be adjusted and so it has to be put on a totally level surface or it’ll tip over. That’s the biggest problem in my opinion. I like doing more than just simple snap shots taken on developed surfaces like a sidewalk or inside a house. The spring clamp for the phone doesn’t have much depth to it, and so it doesn’t do a good job of holding my phone which has a thick case surrounding it, and I’ve had to remove it for it to fit better. The ‘selfie stick’ is nothing more than the legs kept closed. I had thought from the image that the center pole came out but it’s riveted in. So it’s a rather large and heavy selfie stick and certainly not something you can stick in a pocket. The remote control button works but the little cover that holds the battery is very loose and it popped off unbeknownst to me very quickly and the battery fell out. I was lucky and was able to find them by chance. I’ve now stuck a rubber band around them to keep it on tight, but that did not impress me.
