It works okay. But I have several issues:1. Limited adjustability. The vertical angle has a very limited adjustability. Since I used this in a small porch in an apartment and for cats, the high angle causes two problems: the water does not aim at small animals and shoots over the fence.2. Poor footing: the stake is not stable enough to keep the unit stationary while spraying water. This causes the angle to be misaligned overtime and the sensor to be shifted to a wrong direction. Because of this issue, the unit kept getting triggered for unintended movements.3. Poor sealing: the threading and o-rings were of the poor quality that water kept on leaking. I even tried with different o-rings but did not solve the problem.

I bought this because of the solar powered feature. It is very flimsy compared to the Contech, which I have used for years. Also the instructions say to use AA batteries, no mention of using Rechargeable AA. I am guessing that Rechargeable is what it uses. The instructions also say that batteries are included, but they are not.

Just set up, am fine tuning distance and pressure. Solar Powered! I like the activation duration and 5 second pause. Allows you to turn off - unlike some other brands. The battery cover and screws could be improved as the screws do not reinsert easily - battery cover may fail if opened/closed very many times. Directions don't tell you - it's possible to unscrew the stand's quick connect, I capped that end. Good price!!Effective on keeping deer out!

Leaked from every possible connection, even tried pipe tape to seal but didnt help. Great concept, poor design. It did work but leaked and wasted a lot of water. Plus the controls for adjusting field range were off.

This Yardeen would NOT attach to my garden hose, and the screws on the battery plate would not fit securely! Do not waste your time and money on this one!
