Pleasantly surprised :)
I have been dying to buy myself an espresso machine for my home ever since I left my job of being a barista. I looked and looked, but everything was sooo expensive, especially since I just wanted a little wee machine for my countertop. After I found this, and it is perfect. I still struggle with the steam wand, but I personally found that taking the sleeve off helped with the frothing process. It pulls decent shots for what it is. It’s not the best machine I’ve ever used, but for home and the price, it’s pretty darn close. I love this lil guy, I’m satisfied with my purchase.Update: I write this after about 6 months of having this machine. Sometime about 4 months in or so, my lil gevi was not getting hot. I mean, at all. The steam wand wouldn’t work and the espresso couldn’t be pulled right bc the water was coming out cold.I reached out to the company and within a couple of days they got back to me and wrote out the steps to take in order to use the warranty that it comes with. I’m the kind of person that hates doing returns, so if you add any extra steps to that (& there were some steps) I will just buy a new machine since it’s easier.I left the machine alone for a couple of months and tried it today with fingers crossed. To my surprise it worked like new again! So before you send it in, maybe give your Gevi a lil break and it’ll come alive again :)

Not the best not the worst
I ordered the espresso machine and that is what arrived. I paid $141 total and I think, for this price, it’s better than the Mr Coffee brand I’ve brought twice in the last two years (originally got the first two for under a hundred, now sells for 170 and I didn’t want to pay that again for a machine I know has issues after 10-12 months). Since the price went up on that one, I decided to give this one a go because I found a few honest reviews for people who actually got what they ordered and figured I’d just send it back if it sucked.Pros and cons in a sec. But first, a good espresso machine is expensive, buying anything under $500 is a risk that you wont get what you like in your pulls for espresso. Just is what it is. And they break if you don’t care for them, heck they break if you do when they’re cheaply made. So, you just have to keep that in mind. Buy in the range you can afford, and then slowly increase what you can spend over the years until you get the badace machine you deserve. Inflation farked me this time, so I found one that at least had the temp gauge. This one.Pros-Temp guage, and it’s accurateEasy to use if you follow instructionsEasily marked buttonsExcellent steam wandLeaves a good ‘puck’ of espresso after each pullGood crema (this also depends on your espresso bean and the grind you choose or buy- but the machine has a great speed of water flow/temp to allow for good crema)Warming tray works and I’m surprised to find I like it for the espresso cups.I think it actually looks nice on the counter- it looks like it’s not cheaply made. The overflow tray has a float on it so you know when it’s full and it works great. Pleased with that feature in a $140 machine.Cons-The tray in the front comes off easily if you try to move the machine- which you need to do to get to the water tank.TIP- Never take the water tank off to fill any machine with removable tank- just leave it there and fill it with a pitcher- this will increase the life of the seal from tank to machine!Waiting for the temp to go back down after you steam/froth your milk/cream/alternative milk takes awhile. If you make more than two lattes at a time, don’t go back and forth, pull all your shots, then steam in batches, otherwise the water will be too hot to pull shots.Pulling out the overflow grate to dump the excess is a pain. You can just dump it through the holes but really you need to clean the espresso residue so that annoys me that it’s hard to get off. The tray is easy, the metal grate is not.The directions are technically in English, but it’s very obviously not the first language of the writer. There are a few words and even full sentences that are completely off, but you can still get the jist.Overall, if your price point is $140-$200- I say go for this machine. And if they send you the wrong one, send it back. If you can’t take that chance, don’t. A lot of these people who reviewed seemed to have issues with getting what they ordered. But I got what I requested first try.

Save your money-Look elsewhere for an espresso machine
At this point I'm convinced any product labeled "Top selling" , is just a waste of money. I suspect this is a technique Amazon uses to sell the lower quality items because it makes a good chunk of money off of them. Ive had espresso machines in the past for roughly the same amount of money and they were better quality than this machine. This unit is noisy, 95% plastic, buttons feel cheap. It took longer than I'd like to heat up and it also didn't come with any appropriately sized cups or even a frothing cup. The portafilter isn't exactly easy to get in and it took a little doing to lock it in place, tightening it down, I felt like the plastic handle was going to break. The frothing arm is wonky, plastic like and doesn't feel like its attached well. I absolutely know this unit is not going last very long. Absolutely would not buy this brand again. Waste of money. Buyer beware.

So it has worked good up until now. Had it about a year and a half and now the water tank leaks 😡

Impressive for a small inexpensive machine
Was nervous it would be watery or just not be strong with the price compared to some of the others we wanted but actually works perfect. Same taste and just as strong as our espresso we were buying from coffee shops! We’re able to replicate our drinks exactly! Only thing I didn’t love is there’s no sizing button or automatic shut off so you have to start/stop the pour of the espresso. Also there is no automatic shutoff, making it easy to forget and leave it on all day when your rushing out the door. There was once where it went too watery but seems I just didn’t pack enough grounds. Other than that it has been fantastic. My wife has loved it and it’s saving us tons of money from coffee runs.

Precio y calidad
Hace un café en pocos segundos, el tiempo que hay que esperar entre taza y taza es muy breve pero tira café del mezclador de vez en cuando, de ahí en mas está exelente
