Great for drawing but found lacking for rock hounding.
It helps, and is a replacement for one that I had from drafting school, a metal oval template would better meet my needs.

It is helpful to have additional proportions and sizes for those patterns and slabs that don't quite fit the standard sizes.
I wish they also had the dimensions printed on this template in millimeters as well. Also there seems to be a small variation from my other template on the 30 x 40 mm size.
