Sole Source Adaptec Scsi Card 29320lpe - Ultra320 Scsi - Pci Express X

This device is supposedly Windows 7 only. But the Windows 7 drivers work perfectly in Windows 10. My only complaint is that this device doesn't support tapes. It sees the tapes on the SCSI bus on boot, but Windows doesn't see them. Of course, I bought it for tapes *sigh*

These work great and are an excellent choice when one has a new server/desktop that needs to communicate with an older SCSI device such as tape drive or library. Here all that's needed is the card and the existing cable and SCSI device can be used. These work perfectly with Windows Server 2008 and 2012 and older VHDC68 pin (and slower speed - U160) connected tape devices and library's such as the Dell 124T.

Pci/e mini ports are the lowest bandwidth controllers you can get, but otherwise they do the job admirably. A very affordable solution if your board doesn't have a pci slot, and you need something for your external devices.

Needs a special cable connector. Once that was obtained worked fine in windows 7.
