Straight works for connecting same brand/size pedals (See pic, 2 EHX, And 2 Demon FX.)Plus other disimilar brands that match together. These worked great for what I needed. No issues, solid connection.

They work great, but I realized afterwards they aren't of much use to me and you should double check to make sure it is of use to you (I know, I should have thought of this before). Because they only go in a straight line they're pretty much only useful to me between non-mini pedals of the same brand, which isn't a common occurance on my pedalboard. I've ordered Z type couplers which have been much more useful.

I had to buy cables as these don't fit every pedal. The power supply gets in the way if it is on the side of the pedal. These are too short. I was only able to use them where the power supply wasn't in the way.
