Nail Clippers Kit, Manicure and Pedicure Set in Travel Case, Stainless Steel 3 in 1

I have now purchased more than one of these. I liked it so well that I wanted to put them at different locations so I would not have to pack them. Product is sharp and cuts well.

Before I purchased this nail grooming set, I always seemed to have a hangnail or need to file my nails, just as I'd have left my house. It was super annoying. My hubz likes to be the driver, even in my car, so I would sit there and look at my hands and get mad at myself for not having anything with me to groom my nails - all the spare time while he drove, trying to ignore each digit's silent screams of "you never take care of us!" It was maddening (don't judge - it's my car, therefore I can clip, file, etc to my heart's content, not like I would do that in anyone else's car!). So, when I purchased this kit and put it in the glovebox, once again, car rides were restored back to their original peacefulness. I should have bought one of these years ago!

I am just giving these four stars, for now, as I have not used them long enough to assess their durability, which has been the issue with most clippers that I have purchased over the past few years.I have been looking for a moderately priced clipper since I have a few clippers scattered throughout the house but they occasionally go missing and I have to search, sometimes without success, to find them. These looked promising, and inexpensive, so I ordered two sets. I measure all my clippers against on old, made in USA, set that I have had for many years, which have a fantastic fit, are highly polished, sharp and all edges are rounded. I would guess that they are at least 30 or 40 years old and going strong.First of all, I have small hands and feet, so small finger and toe nails and seldom use large clippers that are for big toes and fingers. I will probably never, or very seldom, use the larger of the two clippers in this set.These clippers have a satin finish, and are not highly polished. The edges are not rounded or contoured and pretty sharp. That being said, I do not find them uncomfortable to use. I am not certain how the top and bottom are joined as there is no obvious rivet or weld, but they seem to be securely joined. Neither clipper has an integral file, but the file that is included works very well and the grits on each side are different, probably a medium and fine grit. The gripping grooves on the ends of the handles are very faint, but do aid in preventing my thumb from sliding off when using them. The case appears to be well made and sturdy and should hold up well. The clips on the case are magnetic and come together very positively and also have a button and hole to lock them together. That may be the weak point of the case as it seems to stress the case material when unsnapping the flap.The clippers and file perform very well, are sharp and well aligned, making sharp and clean cuts. These will be harder to misplace, because everything is contained in a case, though the size of the case is small. Each piece of the set has a separate holster it slides into in the case.Presently, I am very pleased with these because they work well, are inexpensive and seem to be of good quality. I have already purchased a third set and may purchase a couple more. I will provide an update after I have used them for a longer period of time. If they prove to be durable, I will have no problem giving them five stars.

They are not sharp and stopped cutting my nail properly. They are not very sturdy and started to rust.

Perfect size for purse or travel

Doubtless everyone has a personal preference when it comes to Nail Clippers.These are well-made and work well and are highly satisfying.

Sharp but the big one for toes is bulky but again as someone recommended here you must have separate one for hand and leg nails due to the fungus infection which I have right now on my leg nails and going thru the treatment.

First time buying this product. It was for my husband who tends to break every other set I have ever bought from stores in generic brands. He suggested that I look for something that is more along the lines of a stainless steal product to hold up better. His toe nails are aweful and this set cut through them easily. They are a bit tough on my finger nails, however, and I noticed my nails were more jagged. This set is rough if you aren't careful or are use to much finer manicures. For a man, it works wonders. The case is actually my favorite part of the whole set. It is a nice, leather like, snap closer pouch. It easily fits in the palm of my hand and would be an awesome travel set. I have not used the whole set, just the one clipper. I can't tell you how the nail file will work but it is small and seems to be more for fixing a jagged egde in a quick situation.I would give it a try, it was a good deal.
