Well built
Installed on a 2018 F150 3.5 ecoboost, worked great. Catches a significant amount of oil between changes. You'll have to buy some tubing, stuff it comes with doesnt quite work with the application. Unit itself is great tho.

Based on your mounting options
I installed near the Power Steering reservoir & ECU on an 2011 MDX. Had to get a screw with the proper thread to use the existing hole that is available in that area. Then had to purchase a hose will the same inside diameter as the OEM breath line from the valve cover, which in rubber is a larger diameter hose than OEM. I am sure with some time and discovery you maybe able to find something close to OEM in both diameters, but you need the time and additional money than a say rubber fuel line. I zipped tied the to rubber lines to the A/C line to insure then don't accidently move and touch the accessory belt, thus cutting them up. It definitely catches oil. I installed this because when I remove the air intake manifold and did the valve cover gaskets. I couldn't believe how much oil I saw in the air intake. After a spending a lot of time to get it cleaned up, I want to catch the blow-by in a catch can versus getting in the air intake. I ended up having to add electric tap to the mounting bracket as the filter would bounce from vibrations and you would hear the can hit the bracket. That solved it. I have to drill the bracket in order to fit the oem style bolt to mount it. In its position you cannot unscrew the can to empty it, you take the top two screws off which disconnects it from the mount and that allows you to bring it straight up and then you can unscrew it to empty. The good news its the removeable pin on top allows you to check on how much oil is in the can so that make it practical without having to unmount the entire unit. I empty about every 4 oil changes. So I am sure many cars will require some modification's with this unit. If you can make it work, its a good unit for the price point. Some of the prices out there are nuts for an aluminum catch can, this isn't for a rocket to Mars... we are just catching blow-by hello.

This is a great little catch can! (updated)
I was very skeptical about trying this inexpensive oil catch can from a few other reviews, but I'm glad I did.I just completed a manifold replacement and my old, original manifold, had at least a quart of oil sloshing around in it! And, it had leaked out making me think I had an oil leak! All from the PCV valve carrying heavy oil/gas vapor back into the manifold to get dumped back into the intake manifold and only partially burned...what a terrible thing to do to a throttle body, intake manifold and engine! So I looked for a inexpensive oil catch can to try. It's actually very good quality. The other reviews I read said to throw away the hose that comes with it. Well, they must have upgraded the hose to some good, steel braided hose, with a nylon weaved sheath. Very nice, and it looks good too. I used a large electrical cable lopper to cut it. The braid is sharp edged, be careful.I did throw away the small hose clamps, as not needed, but they did seems rather cheap in quality, but the can itself has a nice screw on bottom with an o-ring to seal it. I recommend you grease it lightly to keep from tearing it when tightening and loosening it.I did not use the included aluminum mounting bracket, as I needed a small custom mount for it, but it was nicely coated black. No matter what vehicle you have, you WILL have to get creative and find a place and a way to mount this. Keep your hose runs as short as possible. The can itself is anodized aluminum, so it will not rub off like paint. The last thing I did was to add a small o-ring to better seal the dipstick and I used Permatex liquid thread sealant on the hose barbs. It comes with three different sizes of hose barbs. The medium size barbs fit tightly on the included hose just fine. I saw no need for a hose clamp on them. It's only a slight vacuum after all.I was able to push the braided hoses into the 70 degree corner hose adapter fittings that came on my engine. (PCV valve output and manifold input)The catch can has markings for input and output.I'll update the review when I catch some oil with it. It HAS to work. You know, physics..(UPDATE: After just 350 miles it has collected about a tablespoon or more of oil! (.5+ oz)This is outstanding. This equates to about a quart of oil per 20,000 mi. being poured down your throttle body and into your intake manifold. SO glad I bought and did this addition! )

Be prepared to buy extra parts
Overall this is a decent catch can especially for older engines or cheaper vehicles. I will give my opinions on the pros and cons of this catch can and what should be changed about it.The Pros:LightweightEasy to installSturdy Construction of the canisterEasy disassembly and cleaningSimple and clean lookSeems to work fairly well for engines that push a lot of pressure through the PCV system. The Cons:Mounting bracket is a little tightFittings are thin aluminum and are probably prone to crack due to vibrationIncluded hoses are terrible and thehoses flattened out when under vacuum completely unusableIncluded hose clamps don't work and broke due to extremely paper thin aluminumWhat I would recommend needs to change to make this a worthwhile buy:Kit Needs to include :5/16" or 1/4" steel hose clamps, this upgrade probably wouldn't cost the company much as steel hose clamps are very cheap and more sturdy than aluminum ones.1 3ft section of 3/8" vacuum hose or fuel line. The silicon/rubber lines crush under vacuum and will kill the engine if used for long periods. If the company included fuel line or vacuum hose it would only increase the price about 3 to 5 dollars especially if the company buys fuel line in bulk.Include 2 steel wool instead of 1.Conclusion:Overall I'm very impressed with this cheap catch can after I went out and purchased 3/8" fuel hose and installed everything. I think if the company/manufacturer changed what came with the kit it would be worth while. All in with the hoses and clamps plus the kit I was only about $30 into it which is still cheaper than a step up in catch can quality. I will update my review after a couple thousand miles.
