Pillsbury Best of the Bake-off Cookies & Bars

I like easy and this book has some very easy recipes. In fact now that I have it I have changed some of my former favorite recipes to some I have made from this book. The recipe for cherry chocolate bars on page 13. It'smore like a cake than a bar because it is light. It has only four ingredients ( 1 box dark chocolate cake mix, 1 can cherry pie filling, a teaspoon of almond extract, and 2 beaten eggs. Mix all together and bake.) What could be easier? The frosting is wonderful and simple also, but I won't tell you what that is. Buy the book and find out. You won't be sorry!

The book was perfect. My Mom and I compete with each other to make the best sweets for our church. She has my book now and says it is the best. The book arrived earlier than expected and I was able to make some items for our monthly community dinner before it disappeared.

Another Pillsbury cookbook which did not disappoint me one bit. Great color photos and very nice recipes spanning many years of the bake-off. A much better book than the dessert book that I already have. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to bake sweets. Some scratch recipes and many using convenience items bakers always have on hand.

This is, by far, the cookie cookbook I use the most! It's filled with RELIABLE & CONSISTENT recipes. I bought a copy for each of the women in my family for Christmas.
