For small amount of Ridgid tools
I only have 2 Ridgid tools atm. My main are DeWalt. Fits the ver.1 panel light but with limitation to battery size. Runs the 7-1/4" miter saw, but have not put it to actual use as yet. Does work on the Octane 7-1/4" circular. It's good to have options in case emergency. I chose this, over the black version, because it seems to have a lower profile and a good build quality. The lock tabs seem a little short, where the battery might jump out from too much vibration in an impact driver, but the button springs have good tension.

A very suitable alternative to buying Ridgid batteries.
This adapter does a good job at using DeWalt 20V batteries on Ridgid tools.I only have one Ridgid battery and charger, but because of this little device I have upgraded my tools with a few more Ridgid tools.It snaps tightly onto the portable tool, and holds the battery securely.I am actually contemplating getting another one.
