Given as a gift to monitor weight and growth of best friend's GSD puppy. He has had basic training and knows "place", so it is easy to get him to stay on it for weight. Easy to use and well built.

This is a great scale for the price. It works great for our 90 pound dog. The one down side is that it does not lock the readout on it's own. But no big deal.

Stepped on and my weight is off by 1-2 lbs. which is alot when weighing a puppy so I’m a bit concerned. Have vet appointments this week so I’ll see how close we come to compare. Kinda disappointed that an item over $110 couldn’t throw in two AAA batteries. Seriously. I had as to go buy some $12.99 junk comes with batteries so you think $100 would have them included ? Takano.

I bought this thing ten years ago and it's still working great. It's more reliably accurate than my bathroom scale- I've never had to calibrate it and can't remember needing to change the battery more than a couple times.

The bottom of the scale is made of a somewhat glass material and I was a little worried that it might arrive cracked or broken. I'm happy to report that it was packaged very well and arrived safe. The top of the scale does have an anti-slip pattern but is not necessarily an anti-slip material.My 11-month-old, 55-pound female golden retriever fits on the scale just fine. I will compare it to the vet's office to know how much it differs, but it seems pretty accurate after weighing my dog numerous times. The scale is within a half pound of my bathroom scale when I weighed myself.

It is sturdy, large enough for my small and mid-size dogs to step onto and sit, large digital readout is nice as well.

We have a 118 and 106 German Shepards and they fit very well. They go right up on it.

This is a really good scale for medium dogs, works well for my husky (27 kg). Too small for my german shepherd (41kg) or Mallinois (30 kg). It can certainly take the weight but Its hard for them to get all their paws on because they are a bit longer. Hard to get my St Bernard on as shes a larger and longer sized dog (49kg) If she sits perfectly on it the yes it works great.I use it for my smaller dogs and its perfect. I need a larger base for the bigger ones
