The Sounds of Crime

I'm 2 discs into this compilation of short stories and I have to say that none of them are memorable. I listen to audio books a lot when I'm driving and, for me, a good story makes me want to drive a bit longer to hear the rest of the tale. Unfortunately, several of the stories so far, for example the Tony Hill story by Val McD, just didn't grab me. I had to repeat bits because my mind wandered and I lost track of what was going on. Another problem is that some of the readers lack enthusiasm. Oh well, maybe I need a long motorway journey to get a good run at the set of stories on the 3rd disc.

Nice short stories,enough to seduce you buy the authors books. i have been able to hear the whole story before I fall asleep.
