Still not quite as good a GE 32w
Meter is 4ft away on pics. Compared to my sansi 36 and GE 32. The GE still gives a bit more light but the Samsung is much lighter, maybe by .25% GE are very heavy. The spread is a little better on the Samsung, the GE is much more pinpointed which I require for my plant wall because it’s at a 6ft distance. It’s a good light, but ultimately for double+ the price it’s not worth it IMO. Looks cool thou lol. The color spectrum wasn’t advertised but it’s about 5K I’d say.

Plants love it!
This is amazing! I bought one only because It is on the expensive range but took a leap of faith. My plants have never been happier inside. I have several other grow lights, you name them, but this one they really like. I 100% recommend it. I use it for indoor plants on top of a greenhouse.

Good for the price
Overall nice light. The fan is a little louder then I would like but puts off really nice light.

Good lamp bulb but bad manufactured
Received this as new but there many scratches and dent on the bulb. Quality is not good.

Loud fan and very narrow angle of light
Disappointed with this purchase. The fan was whisper quiet for the first week but is now loud and rattling. Nothing helps. The angle of light is also bad. It barely covers one medium seed starter tray. I don’t recommend

Best Grow Light
By far the best grow bulb

Very good quality of light for the wattage.
The media could not be loaded. The fan noise is quiet but noticeable. It's ok white noise but it can be slightly distracting if you want perfect silence. The spread of the light is impressive for 34w. The glass lens helps to spread it out well. The brightness is good, probably not enough for plants that prefer lots of light, but enough to be supplemental with other natural light. For some plants that do well with lower levels, it would probably be perfect. The bulb looks nice enough to hang bare.

Fantastic option for wall plants/corners
Great light for those who have a corner or wall of plants. Spectrum is pretty close, fan/housing fantastic quality on bulb. Been using it for six months now with no complaints.

My Plants Love It
I tried one of these lights. I ended up buying three. I have many plants living under them and they all respond really well. The color is slightly warmer than my old Mars Hydro, which had a whiter light. They are more esthetically pleasing than most lights of this kind. Although they seem well built, one of the three lights has a noisy fan so, 4 stars but overall these lights are of great value. They look good and work really well. Most importantly, my plants love living under them.

Huge!
I was shocked by the size and weight of this grow light when I received it. It’s bright and my plants really enjoyed it over the dark winter months.

Very bright, excellent for indoor plants! Best placed in pendant lights or gooseneck floor lamps
I’ve been mainly using gooseneck grow lights and LED strips for my indoor plants but this 36 watt CFGROW light bulb has been great for my needs and I was able to screw it into a gooseneck floor lamp I already had so I can direct the light as needed. It does run hot and it’s very heavy compared to a typical light bulb, though. I might end up switching this into a pendant light for a different place in my home but for now I like the set up. I have some new plants that require more than just low light conditions, and now that we’re heading into winter season with short days I’m worried my big houseplants won’t live through the season. This bulb is keeping them happy and lush looking so far. I’m not sure what the longevity is but I’m hoping it will last 2 years at least, I will update if it burns out prematurely.

Compact light for small area
This grow light is good for a small cabinet grow or as supplemental light for plants at a window. It is convenient in that it uses a regular light socket and has a built in fan to keep it cool.It is advertised as 36 watts however the LM301B leds are 0.2 watts each and there are 16 of them which makes it about 3.2 watts. It will draw more power as the fan also draws power. The parabolic lens does a good job at focusing the light. I used a lux meter at 24 inches and it registered 1.0k. Then I swapped it for a 6 watt frosted regular led bulb and that registered 105 lux at the same distance, so the lens does make a big difference. If you want value for the dollar, there are better lights that you can get, but if you want a bulb that uses a regular socket and you need something small like a light bulb, then this would be a good choice.

Good for a small houseplant or cooking herbs.
I confirmed with a watt meter that this bulb pulls about 33 watts from the wall, which is a lot for an A19 LED bulb but not much for a grow lamp, but it is close enough to matching the manufacturers power draw claims. The light is much brighter than I thought it would be and appears to lean towards the red end of the spectrum more than the blue but definitely isn't a blurple lamp. The fan noise is noticeable, but it's not bad at all and fairly quiet and seems to do a good job keeping the bulb from getting burning hot. Construction of the lamp seems to be of good quality using decent materials, and I like the fact that all of the screws holding it together are easily accessible so you can probably take it apart for cleaning of the fan and heatsink with no issues as needed. This is fine for a small plant that just needs supplementary light but I wouldn't try to rely on it for anything large as a primary light source.
