This item arrived by April 8th, way ahead of the estimated delivery date and EXTREMELY WELL MADE!!! Yes, it's expensive compared to other 2 steps, but it is far superior in quality and sturdiness, and is the height of actual stair steps which is what was needed! I am so pleased with these steps and they arrived with a HANDWRITTEN receipt! OMG! How wonderfully old fashioned! I had purchased and returned two different step stools from other vendors. I had to assemble one myself, and it was wobbly and cheap. I bought another wooden step stool that was waaay shorter than described online. This comes fully assembled, is handcrafted, is exactly the dimensions listed online, and worth every penny! Oh, and it's MADE IN THE USA!!!

My husband and I love it!! We initially bought it for our dog, who is getting old, to help him jump up onto his favorite chair (designated just for him, LOL). We purposely bought the unfinished one -- exactly what we wanted. The craftsmanship and the beauty are undeniable. It is a tiny work of art. Turns out, sometimes you CANNOT teach an old dog new tricks, and our dog refuses to use it to jump up onto his chair. But my husband and I fell in love with it - he, an artist, and I, an actress - for its pure artistry. We don't yet "use" it for much -- except pure enjoyment. Whenever we look at it, it makes us smile. And I look forward to letting my Grandnephew try it out when he is a little older and visits.It also reminds me of a stool I had as a child, that I used to reach the bathroom sink when I brushed my teeth. It has many uses -- I think you will love it if you have a little one around or who visits, or you don't need a great deal of height, or you just want a "work of art".

This step is just as described. All joints are made with dowels, so there are no exposed nails or screws. The surface was well sanded. I applied a light maple stain and tung oil. I used a vinyl stair tread to add traction. It works well as a bed step. My only concern was that the little rubber feet got tossed around in shipment, so they were separated from their backing. I didn't really mind, since I placed the step on carpet, and didn't need the rubber feet. I strongly recommend this product.

This is for our little dog to reach the doggie door. Works perfectly! I like that it is unfinished, so not slippery for my little guy.

I wanted a stool that could slide under the vanity in my new bathroom remodel for the kids bathroom. It is the perfect height. I was able to paint it in coordinating colors to the bathroom. Seems sturdy and holds up under the weight of my kids and even me. I expect it should hold up for many years to come.

I received this footstool about a week later than promised, but received a refund for the delay. The stool is as advertised and is well crafted. Although it is quite small, its size makes for easy storage when not in use.

This stool is perfect height for me to elevate my feet off the ground at my desk, it sits 6 inches off the ground and I am short in stature so sitting at my desk for a prolong period of time my legs have a tendency to cramp up..This stool is well made and very sturdy
