Locke & Key Master Edition Volume 3

This review is for the physical condition of this hardcover edition and NOT the story itself which is amazing.I ordered all three deluxe hardcover volumes in new condition. This is how one of them showed up. Another showed up with glue separation along the spine (the pages were completely separated from the spine).This is such a shame as the larger pages of the hardback are why I wanted this version. The pages themselves are wonderful. I really hope IDW publishing figures out their manufacturing situation. These stories deserve to be bound in a glorious hardback edition. The cover of this version is an absolute travesty which is sad as the contents are so amazing.I guess I’ll stick with the TPB versions.

These hardcovers could be cheaper though because they don't have any added content. They're just collections of the trades

A perfect ending to the series. The hardback omnibus is beautiful. Glad I bought the three omnibus set instead of the 6 individual novels. And the books are so much better than the Netflix show!

Beautiful editions. Thick, glossy pages that pop, a great binding, plus a built in ribbon for book-marking. This is definitely the way to read Locke and Key

How this didn’t end up winning any Eisner awards is beyond me. I just don’t get it.Whoever is reading this, buy the three books. Don’t think twice.

Great continuation to the story. Still one of my favorite stories.

Great story, so it was a no brainer that I needed the hardcover master edition, it came in mint condition and I’m really happy with the purchase.

Locke and Key is a masterpiece of a comic. Fantastic story, paced to perfection with stunning art throughout. As an avid collector of comics and graphic novels I can honestly say that these Master editions are the finest books on my shelf (ok maybe the Absolute volumes are on a par).A joy to read in every way.

Really compelling story; clever graphics and ( a rarity in graphic novels) engaging and well rounded characters.As the series goes on you really identify with them and the horror story / mounting sense of dread gets more intense

I love this series, and the final volume does not disappoint - a must if you enjoyed the other two volumes!
