It works great!
We've always bought Cuisinart coffeemakers. Easy to use, reliable, and makes great coffee. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the lid is hard to get off the glass carafe & I have to use a utensil to lift it.

Basic Cone filter that delivers excellent taste. Brew pot in 10min. Keeps warm for hrs.
If your looking like I was for a basic unit without all the hastle of the single cup machines, this is the one that deliver's. Mine is Black with Silver round band around the brew pot. Very nice looking. They do come in white as well. You have clock timer that you can program to start whenever you want so you can wake up with a hot cup of coffee. This unit is easy to clean just run a coffee cleaner though the process once in a while and you are set.

Water gage is inside not visible to outside .
We do not like that you can not see gauge ( if you do not want to make a full pot.). By looking on outside. It’s inside, dark & only way to tell is to feel for water level . Water level not same as measured amt.????

Great coffee maker!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son and his fiancee. They love it! It's easy to use and works as advertised. It wasn't easy to choose one out of so many, but I'm very happy I chose this one for them. I definitely recommend it.

I love everything about it
I love everything about it. Yes, it does not have a window to show the water level after you fill it but that is not an issue for me. I use a 4 cup pitcher to fill it so I know exactly how much water I have added. I kind of prefer it without a window. It is taller than expected (15" tall, approx. 10.25" depth, approx. 7.75" wide) but that also is not an issue for me. In fact it works out great for the low cabinet I have it sitting on. Best of all, my morning coffee is great! Update (additional plus!): Over the past few days I've noticed that, unlike my past coffee makers, this Cuisinart does not leak onto the heating plate when you remove the pot to pour (mid brew or otherwise). It may have leaked a few small drops after the first ever brew (out of box) but nothing at all once broken in a day or two.
