This is exactly what I needed for making a 1/4” seam allowance on foundation paper piecing. It’s super easy to use and so precise. My corners are looking great!

Indispensable for foundation paper piecing
This ruler is indispensable for trimming fabrics to a quarter inch before adding the next fabric when foundation paper piecing. It has good thickness, and the ruler tapers nicely from the thicker quarter inch lip side to the regular edge which is thin to help make folding the paper back easier and more precise. It is also transparent enough to see the pattern markings through the ruler. It's a very nice ruler that is easy to work with and feels good in the hand.

Add a Quarter Plus ruler.
I am using this ruler for freezer paper piecing quilt blocks. The beveled side is great for folding the paper back. The perfect quarter inch thick side is used to mark a perfect quarter inch seam or use to set a tape marker on machine for seam line guide.
