These are great hinges. Very thick and sturdy. Also look really nice. Worth every penny. I used 3 pairs in a pair of large French Windows, and they look and work great. The screws are also very sturdy and nice looking. The hinges even come packaged with cardboard separators to make sure their nice polished surface doesn't get scratched. They seem too stiff at first, but when you actually attach them, they're perfect. Mounted, they don't feel stiff at all, but DO keep the windows under control, unlike lesser hinges, and give a much more professional and sturdy feel to the windows. Make sure you get the right size - these are not for normal doors (which typically require 4 x 4 hinges) as these hinges are skinnier. But are the perfect size for something narrower, like my windows (and it is difficult to find really heavy hinges this size).

The description says that these are 4" hinges that can be used on solid core doors. The main text doesn't specify that these hinges won't fit an 1-3/4" thick entrance door, which was the door that I bought them for. The text should specify that these hinges are only for 1-3/8" thick interior doors.

The delivery was very quick. The Hinges are very strong and well made. They look great on my door. great quality.
