Just finished using this product. I think I did a lousy job with the prep work and I had lots ofsmall (10 cent size) spots on the hood that the clear coat had worn down to the paint and lookedlousy. Tried to clean up the areas that needed to be touched up with 1000-2000 grit sand paper.Painted over the cleaned up area, but ran out of paint and could not put a second coat on to fill inthe "dents". For the price paid, they should give more paint in the order. The instuctions were so smallthat I could not read (even with a magnifier) and were not on the Dupli-color web site.

I purchased this pen to fix a small chip in the hood of my recently purchased used prius. It did that easily. When I realized just how easy it would be to fix things, I decided to fix some much bigger scratches on the back bumper. The older couple who leased it before me backed too far into their garage one day. The dealer decided to fix it by globbing a red paint they already had on hand all over the scratches. i was able to take off that paint with the abrasive tip, sand down the scratches and make the bumper look new again. In fact, after waiting 30 minutes for the red coat to dry, I struggled to find where the scratches were to apply the clear glaze over top. It covered that well! I got the car for $1000 less because of the bumper, and I fixed it with a $12 paint pen. I'm beyond thrilled with this purchase!

It served the purpose to coverup.. but not the exact match. More like a nail polish.. but job done👍🏻
