Jessica London Women's Plus Size Classic Cotton Denim Long Skirt 100% Cotton

Runs really large and some run really small. Great mid-calf length (I’m 5’9”.). I am returned the size 20w.Update: Got the size 16w in the khaki/tan and the fit is perfect, even after laundering. I’m usually an 18Tall so I’d recommend going at least one size down. Excellent skirt, ordered two more.Update to the update: For some reason, i’m not permitted to write a review on the other two skirts I bought, so I’ll do it here. Bought a black one and a green/mint one, shipped from the seller. Black skirt fits fine but the button hole wasnt finished. The green/mint one, although the same size as the other two in 16w, is tight in the waist and hips, and the fabric is thinner. A bit of a disappointment but not worth the expense of sending back. Hit-or-miss on sizing.

Love this denim skirt. I'm about 5'4 and length is lower calf area. This skirt can be dressed up or down. Two nice deep pockets in the front which are well hidden and two decent pockets in the back. Denim is of a good grade and not stiff, stretchy, or itchy. I was so impressed, I ordered two more after receiving the first order and will be ordering more!

I have written many reviews for the L pocket skirt over the years because I have bought a whole lot. All the reviews are basically the same.These skirts are not consistent. They tend to fit big but there was a case where I ordered a 14 and a 16 and when they arrived they were both the same size. I do not live in the US, so I can not just return it if it doesn't fit. It is alright for me because I am a seamstress and know how to alter, but if you do not know how to sew, that would be a problem for you. They tend to be roomy in the thighs/butt and go in smaller at the waist. So if you have an 'apple' shape, you'll probably find that if it fits at the waist, it will be too big in the thighs.Well why do I buy them at all? Because modest jean skirts are hard to come by these days and also, there is usually a nice selection of colours as well.I do wish the sizing was more consistent so it would take the guess work out of ordering.ONE MONTH LATER:I had to change the stars from 3 to 1. In the past usually a skirt would last at least a year before the zipper would start giving trouble to stay up. I have not had this skirt for a full two months yet and the zipper pull broke off all together.I am writing these reviews in hopes that SOMEONE will read these and do something about the quality and fit of these skirts. PLEEEAAASSSEE!!!???!!!NOV 30, 2014I think that it is only fair to update this review because originally I had given it a 3 star because the fit was not consistent, then I lowered it to a 1 star because several skirts in a row had zippers that would not stay up or broke all together.I am rating this now at this time, a 4 star because in the last year I have had several of these skirts and they have been much more consistent in size (they still fit a shape that has a smaller waist than hips), and the zippers have been MUCH better.

I ordered 2 of these skirts in the same size, one black and this one. The black fit perfect I really like it. The Kakki skirt is very tight and uncomfortable.

Though I normally wear a 16, I bought both a 14 and a 16 because of reviews saying the sizes run big. They are very nearly the same size, which worked out for me. But, it's a gamble. I love the texture and heavy weight of the fabric. The styling at the waist is nice enough to not want to cover it with a belt.

I have three of these in different colors and sizes, and was quite happy once I finally got the size right. The color is good, the fabric is a good, thick denim, and the length is fine.

I can usually buy a size 22 and have it fit perfectly. I ordered a 24 to have a bit of wiggle room. Bit was I wrong! This skirt ran sooooooo small! The 24 didn’t fit at all! Based on how small it was, I’d have to order a 28!

I have been looking for a denim skirt for a long while. One that I ordered from China (and returned), was way too small and it was a large plus size.This skirt is perfect for my purposes. Ordered size 12. Itś a bit roomy but thatś ok by me. The only issue I have with it is that it is a bit longer than I wanted. But the description/picture shows the length, so I underestimated the length. It does run long. I will have a lot of use from it and may order another in a different color. For the modest dresser, this is perfect.
