Love it. Have had this for nearly a year now.The battery holds a charge for a long time. After it sat for 3 months I used it without charging and used it all day long with no issues.Inside the battery charge port cover you might find it a bit wierd to plug in the usb cord but otherwise no issues. Also there is a float that goes into the cap so when you're underwater it can remain attached to you and or float if dropped into deep water.Various alert settings are easy to set and work well.With extra O rings and protective tips this is one awesome pinpointer. Very sensitive and accurate for in dirt or water pinpointing. I mounted mine to an old toolbelt for ease of use. Love the color and despite it getting filthy it cleanes right up.One quick note: Deteknix has changed their name to Quest Metal Detectors but still honor warranties from their Deteknix line.

Cool idea with the rechargeable battery. Too bad the quality is so poor. The outside case broke the first day I had it when I screwed the cap on a little too tight. Made of thin plastic at the top where the cap screws on. I had to use tape around the seal. Lasted through two dives and then got water in the case and ruined on the 3rd. What a waste of money. Ordered the Vibra-iking 750 and its quality makes the detekinex one look like it was made by a grade schooler.

No instructions included....

Used it twice so far - once underwater and once on land. Both times worked well and located small coins quickly in loose sand.

Very good quality and sensitive to 3or 4 inches. One problem was no instructions but it was simple to figure out. Made an immediate difference finding objects. I was very pleased with it.

Product is missing the charger cable.
