OceanicViper 2 OH FIN

Will write a more detailed review after I try them in the water. I wanted something for snorkeling, not diving, but that was still quality. These fit my feet REALLY well so I’m not worried they will fall off (I’m size 6-6.5 female but very narrow heel). They also are not overly heavy and or bulky so I’m very hopeful they will work good snorkeling. :) Excited to try them.

I got these because they won best over all fins in a best fins of 2022 comparison and I was not disappointed. The have an easier kick than my girlfriends old scupa-pro fins but they still propel me faster. The strap adjustments and quick releases are sturdy and easy to use. My girlfriend tried them and is getting a pair for herself.

I thought they would be great. Upon first glance, they seem wonderful and well made. In action, they are absolutely terrible. I used these all day while swimming and scuba diving. They kept flying off and I lost them mid dive on multiple occasions. The adjustable straps are the issue. The straps don't stay in place and loosen immediately in the water. I was tightening the straps as far as they would go all day long in and out of the water. It was very distracting and posed a risk while on a dive. I only used them all day yesterday, because I don't have a back up pair. I will be seeking new fins immediately and will not be using these or this brand whatsoever.

I bought these as backup fins for travelling and snorkeling the Caribbean. They are a good quality fin, and adjustments are comfortable and easy. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because for the size, I expected just a little more power return per kick. For medium or short dives, these are golden. If you're going to be in them for several hours at a time, the Mares Avanti Superchannels are worth the extra $.

Wish I would have bought the XS instead of S (I am a size 7) but they work and I love them!

The vendor sent me two right fins. I ordered these for a trip and didn't bother checking until I used them. Also the clasp broke on the first dive, but the manufacturer replaced it right away and was great.
