XS CAPACITOR: The Anti-Flicker DRL Capacitor can be used to bridge non-CANBus ballasts to the stock connection or it can be combined with an accessory relay wiring harness to correctly modify the DRL signal for use with an aftermarket HID system. Use this system when your Low beams also act as your DRL (i.e. Late model Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi Lancers, and various Canadian spec vehicles).IS IT REQUIRED?: If your HID system does not have built-in CANBus decoders, it may not be drawing the right amount of power and it may cause flickering.
