Very happy with this ladder every time I use it
I bought this ladder in 2022 and every time I use it I am so pleased that I chose this model. It is very sturdy and not wobbly at all (be sure the locking step is set). I find the step depth and non-slip surface, and the top and side rails all contribute to feeling secure when climbing or descending. It does take up a bit more space because of the side rails, but I wouldn't want to trade security for saving space.

Side & upper bars very beneficial for support and safety
I like this ladder. Well made, not too heavy. I find the side & upper bars very beneficial for support and safety. The side bars were a little difficult to install, but definitely worth the effort. After assembly, I thought all the screws were tight, but felt a little wobble when testing the steps. I came back down & found there was more effort needed to tighten the screws completely. The wobble disappeared. I would recommend this ladder to anyone who has odd jobs around the house where a 2 or 3 step ladder will not do the job.

A sturdy versatile step stool/stepladder
Some assembly required - all hardware included along with a pair of Allen wrenches. All major components, side rails and top hand rail are protected with foam tubes. The top rail has two black foam pieces of tubing to protect ends. They slide off easily. The ladder legs that receive the top rail are protected by a plastic cap with a flat washer inside to keep the cap safe in transit. Toss the washer in yourspare parts dish. Assembly is straight forward.Pros: Very sturdy, rails are handy and the ladder locks in place easily.Cons: It's a bit heavier than expected and probably could have done well with three steps instead to save weight. Not sure how easily this stepladder will work for smaller persons or the more frail. Reaching for the latch when folding is also a bit of a reach. I am still fairly tall these days but need to tilt the ladder back toward myself, and when it unlatches, the back legs can be in free fall - watch for pinching conditions. Finally, could wish it was made of aluminum rather thansteel, but that's another thing again. We have an six foot aluminumstep ladder with a similar latching mechanism - same long reach tounlatch and back leg free fall. Like touching a hot stove, one is more careful next time.As for storage this stepladder folds to a package, in inches, 20 across by 9 deep by 69 tall; so measure your proposed storage space. If a second similar need came up I would buy again. All in all very pleased with this purchase.

Good Ladder
This ladder is fairly sturdy, although it wobbles back and forth a bit. The frame and steps are secure. I love the handles and the attachable tool bag. The one thing I hadn't considered was the handrails do fold in, so storage is challenging. All in all, a good buy.

Sturdy, replaced my ladder!
I bought this HB Tower as an assist to my 6 Ft ladder but, I've come to realize that this has all but replaced it. It is lightweight, easily moves from garage to any room without effort. I used to do many of my own home improvements, but for several years have had to hire out some simple tasks because I was unsteady on my regular ladder. My husband who's 77 helped but I missed what I enjoyed, home improvements requiring a ladder. Feeling safe with the side-rails as well as the tool belt attachment allow me to do what I need without carrying a different tool up and down even putting it in the pockets before climbing up. I even feel safe on the top step (you can't do that on either of the top 2 steps of any ladder) I purchased the 4-step version, but I can see that the 5-step version would be helpful.

4 step ladder
As a senior I am nervous about using a standard ladder. I like this one because of the broad steps, the side rails and the extended top rail. It’s easy to set up and fold away, and not too heavy. It’s well constructed and I feel safe on it. I will recommend this ladder

Best geriatric ladder!
Best geriatric ladder we’ve found yet! We are 73 and 80 yo and were concerned it would be too heavy or unwieldy; it is neither. Very stable and easy to use! Highly recommend!

Really Nice, But They Could Be Packed Better
I've had this for about a month now and I've used it several times. I really like it. It's surprisingly light weight, but it feels very sturdy and stable. I really like that it has the handles on the side, the top bar that you can lean against, and the tool bag that fits over that top bar. It also folds fairly flat, though the side rails do make it a little bit thicker than some. I personally think the extra safety that those side rails provide far outweighs the slight additional depth that it takes up when folded, though. I also think that though it wasn't the cheapest, it was reasonably priced and any extra I spent on it vs. it's competitors without rails was far less than it would cost me if I fell off one of the others without the side rails and broke something. It was an excellent value as far as I'm concerned. The only issue that I had with it was that the first one I bought wouldn't sit flat on the floor. I wobbled. I ordered a second one and that one was fine, though. Other than that, it's been great & I would definitely purchase it again. I've also recommended it to several of my family members.
