Amazing Quality! Suitable for every medium!
Zen Sangam Is surely my favourite brand, and i have been using their products for a long time now. And the best thing about their products are the quality! The paper quality, texture is beyond amazing! This is a watercolour sketchbook but everything works perfectly, no matter what medium it is. Watercolour or gouache or acrylic every medium is suitable for this sketchbook ❤️

Decent paper for watercolor practice..
I bought the A5 size to test the paper quality and I am quite happy with this sketch book.. The paper quality is quite decent for watercolor practice, the price is very reasonable for what we are getting.. There is a medium texture which looks good in the work. Water absoption is not bad. You can see the effect in the two of my painting which I have uploaded..The dimension is slightly bigger than Scholar A5 size sketch book..I am going to order a A4 size next.

An awesome watercolour book
I ordered this one for myself to practise my painting but its too cute and pretty to use it simply to practice small paintings. Therefore I use this as my official painting journal. Its small and does not take much space in your already crowded bookshelf. The pages are really good for mixed media. I use this for water colour and acrylic painting. Though it takes a bit time to wet there is no issue while using paints. The paint itself spreads evenly. I found this book to be value for money. Thank you for reading my review 😊.

A very sturdy and nice product at this price range.
I ordered the red colour sketchbook it's absolutely beautiful and the quality of the pages oh my god it's beautiful and if anyone wants a good sketchbook at this particular price range go for it without a second thought.I have tried a light wash watercolor painting and will do further drawings too.

Works like hot pressed paper
Paper absorbency is very poor. But it only if you are ok with hot pressed paper. Even though it says it is cold pressed, the absorbency is like a hot pressed paper

Fine paper, very elegant...
...but I wish now that I had purchased the spiral bound version. The one I bought takes up more space on my table than I'd like, but maybe others like this format. The paper is very good quality, if maybe a wee bit too thin, but it does have cotton in it so the paint is absorbed quite nicely!

Not for watercolor wet on wet
Nicely bound book and decent paper but it’s really terrible for wet on wet techniques. Paper buckles badly even when all the edges are clipped down and left to dry. Water seems to dry off the surface really quickly while paper remains wet. Watercolors absorb and don’t lift or blend so if you lay down a darker color it’s stuck where it is. Wouldn’t recommend this if you are using it for watercolors if you’re doing anything more than one layer.
