Impressive Chef's Knife
This is an impressive chef's knife.It's quite large and heavy, but the knife is weighted such that it feels perfect when being held. The handle is properly sized for the weight of the knife and it's comfortable to hold and use.The appearance particularly notable. It has the characteristic swirls of 'damascus' steel, the patterns said to be the result of the process used to manufacture such blades - in this case 71 layers are claimed, with the particular alloy of steel used here also contributing to the strength and final appearance.I do not know how one can discern whether or not the blade is actually made using such a time consuming process. I do simply know that the result here is impressive and attractive and gives every indication of being a quality knife.In use this is also very capable, sharp and as mentioned well balanced.The real test will be how this knife is found to hold up over time, how well the blade will hold it's edge, and so forth. I will use this and see how it does perform. I am giving it 4 stars for now. It is a very high quality knife and I'm glad to have it and will use it. If I find that it turns out to be really exceptional after I've used it for a while, then I will not hesitate to bump the rating up to 5-stars but that will only be after extended use shows that the product deserves that. I also note that this is fairly expensive, not out of line for a high quality knife, although I'm not taking that into account in my rating.The seller, D.Worth, has been established on Amazon for about a year as I write this review, and their customer feedback so far has been very good but is very limited to date.This knife appears to be listed twice here on Amazon, for the same identical product. Highly recommended!
This Dworth Chef's Knife was purchased for my brother, who is a chef. He loves this knife and has found it to be of a high quality steel. The handle is beautifully crafted. The blade is extremely sharp and can cut a thick piece of meat without much effort. It comes with a nice sheath and a tip protector. I also appreciated the gift box it came in. I would highly recommend this knife for any kind of chef.

Good knife
This is a good knife good quality. It's definitely not the sharpest out of the box. But with that still did past the paper test and I was able to cut veggies without trouble. In my opinion I think the knife is pretty good quality feels nice when chopping veggies and meats. The handle does feel awkward at first, but I got use to it.I did receive a discount but for the price its going for, I think the competition is tough. There are too many options out there for that price range. And if your on some kind of budget you probably won't come across this one. I know some people really like having and collecting kitchen knives that might be for you. Does get the job done.

Wow. I received this knife Friday and couldn't wait to try it out this weekend. It arrives in a very elegant box which would be perfect for gift giving so that was an added bonus. The knife not only looks very nice but is an amazing knife. Right out of the box it slices nicely, is extremely sharp and has a nice weight to it. I would highly recommend and will buy again
