Never have to stop to tie your shoe again!
I first saw these about 7-8 years ago, around 2014 or so, when they had been on the market for a little over 2 years. I was mesmerized by the little elastic-like strips that could replace your current shoelaces in nearly any lace-up shoe and could be adjusted for a fit that was as loose or snug as you need. At the time, I figured I didn't truly need them because I didn't wear lace-up shoes very much and didn't do a lot of walking. Fast-forward to March 2022: I unexpectedly had a chance to take a trip to Boston in May to see my son and daughter-in-law, and I knew I would be doing a LOT of walking to see the sights. My first purchase for the trip was two new pairs of good walking shoes; I realized I did NOT want to worry about my shoes coming untied with all the walking, so I bought the Hickies lacing system in navy blue and in white. I loved them so much, I also bought the translucent, gray/chrome, and neon sets to enable me to change up the styles a bit depending on my mood. I'm currently sitting on a bus in Boston, heading to my son's house after a long day of walking, and my shoes are still as comfortable as they were this morning and I honestly haven't given them a second thought all day. No laces coming untied at awkward moments, no having to tie the laces too tight so they wouldn't come untied. Just pure comfort all day.Coming through airport security on my way here was a breeze because I could take my shoes off and slip them back on super easy, without having to stop and tie my shoes.Hickies have so many ways to adjust the fit that you just really can't go wrong with them. You will love them so much, you'll want a set for every pair of lace-up shoes you have, and you might want some other options just to change up the look a bit.

I have use of one arm although I know how to tie my shoes these are nice to have good quality and keep your feet in not a loose fit

Easy and convenient but a little tight.
I like them but they are tight. My feet tingle when I wear them.

Disappointing.
Difficult to lace. Product is tight and requires a lot of strength to secure in the shoe. Pulled the shoe so tight I needed to fight the shoe to get them on my foot. I wear a women’s size six. I needed to view the video as I was having so much difficulty. This brand was more expensive and now not wearable due to the tightness of the shoe. I have removed them.

Awesome!
I love these! When our new puppy started chewing on my shoelaces I knew I had to do something. I saw these advertised somewhere. These definite are the answer to getting Charlie to leave my shoelaces alone. Also, they allow me to quickly get my shoes on in any situation from Charlie to my grandkids. They are great! So much easier than bending over to tie your shoes! I highly recommend them!
