18/10 Steel Sugar Shakers with Lid, Professional Pepper Shakers, Salt Shakers, for Cooking, Barbecue, Baking, Set of 2

I am just tickled about these shakers! I bought 2 sets of them and then used my label maker to label them for cocoa, powdered sugar, cane sugar, and cinnamon sugar. My kids are delighted and so am I. I specifically chose these for their small stature and because they have covers for the lids. I had one other larger shaker before this, which I always had to keep in a plastic zip-lock because there was no cover for the top. These are just perfect for our intended purpose, and very good quality, too. Think about how big you want your shakers to be, because there are several options on Amazon (some with covers for the lids, some not) in other sizes. If you want something bigger, they have that.

I wanted stainless steel shakers with air tight lids for salt, pepper and seasoning mixes at my outdoor grill. These are stainless steel of acceptable strength, quality and fit for the price. However, the screening over the top is for confectioner's sugar, but too fine for kosher salt, coarse ground pepper, or seasoning mixes such as Montreal. Furthermore, the plastic "covers" will keep dirt out, but are not sufficiently tight to keep out air / humidity.

I bake a lot of bread, and thought I don't need this, I can just throw some flour on the counter. Well, these make a great difference. Not only do I get a thinner coat, I don't have to lug the flour canister out on the counter. I have one for regular flour (cookies), one for bread flour, and one for confectioners sugar. The lid is a great idea

I searched on Amazon to find the best! These are the best sugar shakers! They're the best quality! 18/10 stainless steel! After ordering one set, I ordered two more sets. I have flour in two of them which I use for rolling out pasta and pastry. Carob powder in another one, and I'll be putting icing sugar in another, and in another a mix of cocoa powder/icing sugar.

These arrived smaller than what I was thinking they would be. Other than that they are very nice. I like the plastic lids and the fine mesh that is on the top of the lid. Can be used for so many things.

I like the plastic covers but these are really small. And one of the lids is so tight it's almost impossible to put on. I was wanted to replace my Pampered Chef shaker but these aren't as good

I purchased a 5 lb tub of my favorite seasoning Everglades Cactus Dust(a great bbq rub and such a great flavor a little goes into everything I cook) I needed a shaker to use the rub and purchased these for that purpose.Works great and looks great. Will be buying again

Powdered sugar in one and corn starch in the other and both work well. I was concerned the screen was too fine and it would clog, but that hasn't been a problem. The capacity is a little wanting, but that hasn't occasioned too many refills. OK overall
