Obus Forme Backbelt for Men, Small

I was looking for a sturdy, good-looking back brace that I could wear to the gym. This now replaces a bulky brace I bought at a local medical supplies store. I have 28" waist - the small fits very well.Pros:- Looks good, for a belt/brace. Hardly recognizable when worn underneath a shirt, so long as the shirt is not very fitting at the waist.- Feels great. I keep it on most of the day, and I am sitting more than half the time. I tried this with other braces and they tended to quickly slip up to my ribs and make it very uncomfortable to breathe.Cons:- Wish it were made with slightly thinner, more comfortable fabric (for aerobic activity and when wearing underneath clothes, I imagine that would be a good thing).I would recommend, and I'd buy this again.

I think the item is great! However, I ordered the item from Amazon on a Sunday and paid for 2 day delivery. I did not receive the item until Thursday. I needed the back support belt for a home furniture move on Wednesday. When I inquired to Amazon about the shipping issue, they essentially said I did not read the fine print. I had to go and buy another support belt for the move. I was not happy about the experience and I believe that Amazon is so big now that they don't really care about the small guy like they have in the past.....watch out for Walmart online!!!

Twenty years ago building a three story home with elevator. I fell down the open shaft, knocked unconscious for 12hrs. I was young and walked away with no apparent damage. Wrong, about 20yrs later my lower back began to ache a lot when I went backpacking. X-rays showed stenosis in the lower spine. Like to motorcycle ride long distances exploring western states. Bought this belt seeking some relief. Bought other too but this by far was the best and still is just for daily walking around. It is fairly narrow, good, and the thicker pad at the middle back presses aganst that stenosis and gives excellent relief when walking around now that I am 77yrs. I never liked the wider supports. This remains my favorite. Check Walmart for $$?

I Have a 34 inch waist and the large size belt, when made as tight as it can be, is a little to big. But I like the material because it breaths well.

Sorry I can't be more helpful with this review, as I bought it for my father andnot myself. He's in the 60 year old bracket and asked if I could buy him a support belt, not knowing how to use the internet and all.So I looked around and wanted to see what I could find on Amazon.It would appear these belts are more ergonimically designed than many other support belt, and don't just hold the stomach in as some are just designed to do. The belts have a good degree of adjustability and lumbar support.Before handing over to my father, I checked out the belt to see how it would wear and fit. The construction seems of very high quality. Needless to say, my mother liked the belt enough to ask me to buy one for her, just like my dad's. Of course, they make them for women so I will be buying one for her that is for women. I will be making a similar review for the women's version as well.Hopefully my review will be somewhat helpful, as again, I did not purchase for myself to use on a regular basis, only parents.I'm glad I found these products for my parents.*** like to bump this to 5 stars *** my parents love these belts

This back belt is far better than those blue ones with the suspenders. I use it while riding my bike and doing lifting. I'm 60 years old with a pudgy tummy and two slightly protruding disks in my lower back, and this belt really helps keep me out of trouble. The fact it comes in sizes was essential and it makes a big difference what with the pudgy tummy and all. Very comfortable worn both over and under your clothes. If you want suspenders so you can loosen it when not active they make one that has them. Worth every penny.

I wear this belt to work everyday!! This belt has saved my back for 3 yrs worth of work. When I first started my job I started to have minor back pain. But this belt has solved all my back soreness!!

If my back is sore from too much lifting this belt will help me make it through the day. It's made well and offers good support . Proper lifting tech and conditioning your back is best but if you do something stupid ( Don't we all )this belt can help . Once you put it on and pull the 2 straps tight you have alot of extra support and reminds you to keep your back straight and lift with your legs.
