Pixma Pro 100 CLI-42 Refillable Carts with Resettable Chips

I am so happy that refillable carts are finally available for the Pro 100 printer. These carts work fine. They do tend to leak quite a bit after filling them up. Have paper towels on hand and let it soak up the ink before placing the carts in your printer. I also purchased the redsetter, but have not had to refill the carts yet. I highly recommend purchasing the RIGHT INK!!! The first carts I purchased had to be tossed because the ink colors were not accurate. No matter how much tweaking I did, the colors were way off. I know InkJetCarts sells their own brand of ink and it may work well. I don't know. I purchased a different brand. Not sure if I am allowed to post this, but the inks I recommend are from Precision Colors. They are as good or better as the OEM. And when you have a photo printer you want the best inks available with accurate colors. I do highly recommend these carts. Will save tons of money.

Do not buy. Leaked all over the inside of my new printer. I should have known better when their instructions call for using duct tape to make a better seal. Also they have these silicon gaskets that you have to put on for another better seal. I have been using refill ink for over 15 years on all types of printers without any problems. Anyway I sat through their boring video just to make sure I did everything the proper way. Leaked like hell. I tried with and without the duct tape and gaskets every combination I could think of and no luck. Called the company and was told they have sold hundreds on amazon with no complaints. Hard to beleive. I used their chip setter to reset the original carts drilled a hole and got all but 2 carts to work. Have ordered thoes 2 carts from staples and will use them until they are dry and will try to refill them. I only hope I haven't screwed up my new printer with this product. Trying to clean the ink from printer and hope all this duct tape and silicon gaskets haven't streached anything in the printer.

What I liked the most was the savings acquired.The colors may not match the oem inks, but it's close enough.

These cartridges seem to work very well. The colors seem true and I haven't noted and defects in the product.

They work work exactly like oem carts and are easy to refill.

Installed in the night, by morning leaked and socked my printer.Now i am throwing my printer and getting new one. Lesson learned, I will go for genuine cartridges from now on.
