Great cabinets
My husband put these together for me and did so with nothing but compliments for the product. They were the easiest cabinets he has ever put together and he has done this multiple other times over the years with other companies for me. This company is by far the best. Quality is great, parts were all there, everything is very well made. Thank you Prepac, we will be back for more when we need them. And thank you for having them made in the USA and Canada!

Heavy Duty Wall Cabinet
This is a well made cabinet with quality assembly hardware, and complete instructions. This cabinet is made of dense particle board with a laminate outer finish. It is very plain, but well made. Being particle board in construction means that is VERY HEAVY. It is very strong if assembled correctly, and very roomy. I have one in my basement bar, and it is loaded with glassware.

Looks great- not the easiest though.
The media could not be loaded. So first off let me say I love how this Looks and it’s so convenient! Let’s get into the issues. First off: you know how pieces of furniture are typically labeled with corresponding numbers of the instructions? This came with ZERO labels on the individual pieces- even though the instructions had them labeled- the pieces were not. Many of the pieces came scratched up; for the price you pay I feel like that should be be. My husband and I got it out together without the labeled instructions- just by the pictures. Anyways- it doesn’t seem like other people had this problem so I would maybe order them again if needed for something else bc in general it’s very good quality.

Great quality for the price, best option where press-board is acceptable
This product line really is great for what it is. I would much rather buy real wood furniture. But real wood cabinets are much more expensive, obviously. I just needed something that would work for a craft room. I don't think I could have found a better option that was both this affordable and this sturdy. It hits the perfect middle ground. Based on touching things in the store, I think these are a more sturdy option than the press-board kitchen cabinets you can buy at the big-box home improvement stores. It's a miracle these get delivered without lots of damage. The storage cabinet in particular is very heavy, and mine arrived with an exploded box. But only one corner of one door was damaged. I contacted Prepac and they sent out a replacement for free immediately. The fact that nothing else was damaged was a testament to the toughness of the veneer on these and also the packaging, which was stellar. I think the veneer is made of rhino skin. One cabinet had two pretty deep dings on the edging and they didn't manage to break through it. I kept the pieces as they were because you can barely tell after the doors are put on.Assembly is really easy. I was expecting it to be a pain like other press-board furniture, but really, it was fast and the end result is sturdy. It's hard to not get it mostly square with the assembly method they use.I will always hate myself when buying press-board furniture, but if I have another need for it in the future, I would buy these again probably without even shopping around. There is one slight annoyance with the wall cabinets. When you install two next to each other, you clamp them and screw them together. But the screws you used to attach the sides to the bottoms and top hit either other, so you don't get a snug line all the way up. At the very top and very bottom you get a small gap, in the middle the cabinets touch. You may be able to see it in my picture from below. This material is not really made to countersink your screws, then your screw would be resting on press-board instead of the rhino-tough veneer. For this price I don't care and wouldn't knock off a star for it, but be aware you will hit that.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Doors don't align!
There is nothing Elite about these! Don't waste your time or energy. It would be one thing if I had a set that didn't align properly but I purchased 2 of these cabinets at the same time. First, One item arrived with a strange wax like coating over all 3 doors. It initially wasn't a deal breaker b/c they are going in a garage wood shop and will get dirty and dusty so I continued to assemble. One of the assembly screws wouldn't fit snug but everything else seemed to go smoothly until it came to the cabinet doors. I adjusted everything according to the instructions and none of the doors align properly on cabinet one. In addition to large gap in double doors, each one stair steps. I measured the doors and they all are different measurements (off by several mm.) I tried swapping doors and hinges to get it as close as possible and well you can see the result. I didn't even bother adding the door handles on the second cabinet b/c upon assembling the framework I ran into the same screw that wouldn't drive in all the way. Same hole. So this is a miscalculation in their assembly. I used my own screws for both cabinets for that same hole. The second cabinet at least the doors align for the most part except; I had the same issue with the gap between the double doors. I also noticed on the second set of cabinets the black coating which is some kind of laminate had 3 large bubbles forming rippled areas. Now I get to waste more of my time disassembling everything and box it all up. If you read the reviews most people complain about gaps in doors and them not aligning. Over all my expectations weren't super high due to the price point for each cabinet; however I didn't expect so many issues with each one. I'm going to either take the time to make them myself and do it right or pay more to get something higher quality. Prepac more like Precrap.

It's actually great for the price!
Prepac cabinet's price vs quality is about on par with the local hardware store when they are on sale. When none of them are on sale, then Prepac is certainly a greater value. I ordered a 54in long, 3 doors bathroom cabinet that hangs on the wall above the washer/dryer and it fits flush with them. At 252$ CAD delivered to my door, I think overall this is great value and it really doesn't look too bad in 2022 even though it's all cheap particle wood with melamine, but what's not nowadays? The espresso color looks great in my bathroom with dark beige walls.THE DOORS LOOK AND FEEL FANTASTIC. They're very heavy, like if they were made of real wood (which they aren't) and even the hardware is heavy and looks great, it doesn't feel cheap. Why I didn't give 5 stars:1) Instructions are slightly wrong on page 3 or there's a defect in manufacturing: They tell you to screw through the top piece above into the C3 piece directly underneath, but the C3 piece doesn't have those 2 holes indicated for screwing, so you'll be left with 2 unused screws and 2 unfilled holes on top of the cabinet, unless you use a drill and VERY CAREFULLY drill the 2 holes in that 5/8in thick C3 wood piece yourself (I didn't go for it!). To be fair, I don't think this makes the cabinet less sturdy and since it's on top above, nobody can see those holes anyway.2) This cabinet is lacking a cardboard sheet on the back, so I highly suggest that you prepare your wall so it's smooth looks nice (paint it a dark color or something) because you'll see the wall when opening any of the 3 cabinet doors, which looks weird, IMO. I don't think it would have cost them a lot more to include 2 cardboard pieces, really.3) They give you cheap plastic plugs to hide the screws on the sides of the cabinet, but they (the screws and plastic pieces) don't fit flush even when pushed hard, so it doesn't look perfect. Also, the plastic piece color is slightly too light compared to the espresso melamine color.4) This point, I don't know if it's UPS fault, but seeing the box, I would say it is. Anyway, there were a couple lightly damaged wood pieces, all of which (except for the door's corner) were hidden or almost invisible once assembled, so I'm still happy and perhaps it's not even Prepac's fault. For the door, I used a dark brown sharpie and it completely masked the scuff so it's all good in the end.I will probably buy again for my second bathroom renovation next year. I recommend those cabinets, they're fine for the price and they look good.
