OK -you should try it once and see if it's for you
This tastes similar to regular pasta -not much different in taste. It might be a tiny bit mushier if you overcook it... so try to eat it more al dente and not let it sit in water any longer than necessary or make a big batch and then reheat (I mean you can but it might be a touch mushier than firm). I'm not sure if there is really much added health benefit, but it certainly couldn't hurt. I prefer Barilla's Protein Plus pasta, which I like even better than their regular pasta -I compared the nutrition label between this veggie pasta and the same brand protein pasta; protein wins just slightly over the veggie in terms of nutritional advantage (although veggie may contain a few extra vitamins and minerals than protein type but in small amounts). I would say you have to give this a try and see if it suits your/your family's taste/preference. I would buy this Barilla veggie pasta again if it went on sale and Barilla's Protein Plus was out of stock. For sure, either of those would beat out regular pasta on every count except for price.

Surprisingly good
Usually if you get chickpea or wheat noodles, instead of the reg pasta, they always taste a little off. I served these and no one could tell. They had that chew that real pasta has

Love the falvor
Love the flavor and that they are veggie. I use to make pasta cold salads in the summer. The flavor goes well with the Italian seasonings

My daughter loves pasta but hates greens. That’s a healthy alternative. I like the fact they used purée instead of powder to make the pasta.
