Good strings

Amazing strings that last a long time. Helps generate topspin and just a good feel. Good price too.

I like this string! played well from the start

Only played one match with this so far, strung it low 45-42 in a Wilson Shift (3.5 male) - 17 gauge - like the control and access to spin - serves seem ok. I string myself - this was a decent string to work with - didn't stretch excessively when tensioning.I think next time i will try the soft version - always worry about causing elbow issues playing poly. my suggestion is don't string it above 52 in any frame - give lower a shot. Had NXT @ 55 in the racquet before - it was ok but sounded funny sometimes. (with a dampener)see how long it lasts.

I've been converted to the Hyper-G Cult

Where can I begin with this string? I got the 17 Gauge at 50 lbs - Here's how it went:1. The first 60 minutes of using this string, coming from a Babolat RPM I immediately thought "This is the biggest mistake I've ever made. JESUS are these strings STIFF and hard on the arm! I thought my shoulder was going to fall off after playing with this. First string that gave me such intense pain after playing. The spin was so intense that a lot of my shots were getting caught by the net, I had to adjust my swing path to make this string reach the opponent's baseline. It's very low powered and had to muscle through the ball to get some depth.2. Three days after using it for the first time, I noticed the strings felt a lot better, softer and gripped the ball a lot better. My shots got faster, with increased control and direction.3. Two days after that, I'm in love with these strings. I got the hang of it and now my slice serve is an actual weapon. The balls are curving and landing hard, cutting quickly to the sides, my opponents are really having a hard time returning that serve. After the first use, I almost ripped them off my racket to go back to the RPM's... but now that they settled in, these might just be the best strings I've ever used. Let's see how long they hold before needing a replacement.

Great overall poly, good spin and control

Really like this string, with one minor ding that I'll get to. For reference, I have this in a Wilson Pro Staff 97CV, strung at 48lb mains/46lb crosses. As a former tennis elbow sufferer, was hesitant to go full-bed poly again, but this string and tension is marvelous. Very soft, and excellent spin. I can swing out and get a nasty drop-in near the baseline. My one-handed backhand especially benefits from this. Serves also benefit from the spin. Slice and kick are really spinny, although flat serves take a little more effort due to the low power.Flattening shots is a little more difficult, as well as defensive shots on the run. I like to flick the racket almost like a squash shot, and have trouble getting any pace/depth on these defensive shots with this string. I'm trying Tier One Firewire Boost in my other Pro Staff (see my review on it for a similar comparison), which in a nutshell has more overall power (for me) but a little less spin and control.Hyper-G pros: spin, control, comfort, serve spinFirewire Boost pros: easier power, flatter groundstroke, flat serves, crisper but still comfortable at 52/48Both are very good string combos, so it's they're basically in a playoff to earn the rights to stay in the Pro Staffs. I may actually stick with both and use Hyper-G for singles and Firewire Boost for doubles. Hope this helps,

Like a new racket

I really like the power it provides, much better than my racket factory strings.

If there is a string you must try. This is it.

After so many quests for searching for string. I settle with this.Medium stiffness. Lively impact. Affordable. With slightly above average durability (I play 3 times/week for about 3-4 weeks before it snaps). Good for control racket with just right amount of power.Compare to my previous favorite volk cyclone. This one remain lively longer. Both my rackets G360+ Prestige and Gravity MP are quite string sensitive. It reduces the muted feeling of Gravity and open up sweet spot & predictable power of the Prestige. I strung them with 51/52lbs.

Great strings

I really like these string. I am already on my third set of the same brand and type, only I tried different gauges. I liked them all, they feel very comfortable and are rather durable. I am not a pro player, and I rarely change strings unless they break, but that being said I enjoyed playing with these until the very last moment when they did break. I think they help a bit with the spin, especially the larger gauges (thinner strings), and they deliver quite a bit of power as well - even my girlfriend who is not incredibly strong nor incredibly trained in tennis can hit some pretty fast shots with a lot of spin on them as well.
