It was a very simple plug and play set-up. The daytime camera quality is fairly good but that's a relative term. I have no issues seeing and identifying people on my TV screen but it's a bit grainy when you move from 4 camera view to the larger single camera view. The DVR (based on some calculations) will hold about 10 days worth of 24 hour 4 camera recording before it starts to record over itself. It comes with (almost) everything you need to be up and running in short order. Unless, like me, you had to do the "attic crawl" in the heat of summer.As for the night vision, it's fair. I bought some IR illuminators and they helped somewhat but don't expect much from the night vision.So, in conclusion, if you want a system that is pretty basic and will record well during the daytime and fair at night this will certainly work for you. I am still struggling with the port forwarding**UPDATE**After trying for several days, I contacted the manufacturer. They tried to answer my question via email but we weren't making any progress. They suggested a tech phone call. They set it up and called me. The tech took quite a while to figure out how to "port forward" my system but, to his credit, stayed with it until it was working. It took about an hour and a half on the phone with him controlling my computer remotely and me plugging and unplugging various devices. However....it now works! It works great (now) and I give allot credit to their tech department.**UPDATE 2**I changed internet providers and, of course, lost my port forwarding. The Tech department ws able to port forward me...again! This level of customer service is hard to find!

Spend me 2 hours to run the wire, and half hour to set this system up. It's very easy to use. And it gives me nice pictures.With this price, I'm satisfied.I used to install zmodo system, this system is better than zmodo's, because you don't need do network setup, the DVR do it for you automatically, and the camera gives better picture than zmodo's camera.I installed this system for my grocery store. I feel secure now, and 0 worry when I'm away, because i can see my store via my phone.

Very nice for the price. Easy installation and operate but mobile viewing very hard to set up. Great customer service

Not super happy with the system, its ok, must be handy, technical, and extremely computer savvy to install this, cameras are pretty clear not at night though, in fared helps. Good for the price.
