As a lazy single guy who likes to cook but hates cleaning, this was a product that looked like something I should investigate. With the low price and many different brands of this product to choose from, I went with the one that had the most positive reviews, the JIKO MAMBO Clip-On Silicone Strainer, Colander.Let me say that this is one kitchen aid that is worth it's weight in gold and then some! I love my fancy, stainless steel colander almost as much as I love pasta. But keeping it clean and in particular, water spot free, meant using Bar Keeper's Friend to keep it shiny and clean. But with the JIKO MAMBO, clean up and sanitation is a breeze! It's as easy to use and works perfectly as described. The bonus for me is the fact it works just as wonderfully for draining grease from meat cooked in a skillet. And clean-up is just as easy as it was when using it for draining pasta.For the price and quick delivery, the JIKO MAMBO Clip-on Silicone Strainer/Colander is something anyone who cooks (even simple stuff) should have. I've already ordered more for gift giving occasions. You should try one and I'll bet you will do the same!

i LOVE this thing! washing the huge metal colander after making pastas and things has always been one of my most hated tasks, as it invariably involves scrubbing minute bits of gunk out of the individual holes (starchy pasta goop, mostly). this guy clips on so easily, keeps all the little noodles and beans from spilling into the sink, and washed up SO QUICKLY, i was amazed. it also came with a little garlic peeling sleeve that had my heart fluttering at the ease with which i skinned a whole head of garlic. overall, this one of of my favorite kitchen gadgets i have ever purchased, and i can't wait to repurpose that stupid colander as a planter or something.

My family eats alot of pasta, probably too much, and this Snap n Strain pan strainer eliminates one pot and step from cooking. Very simple to use and also very efficient. All you have to do is snap the two clips to your pan with pasta and strain. No fuss and no mess. This was a no brainer.

This will be a great addition to my kitchen. I make pasta, rice, etc. several times/week. I do find that it works great with my older pots/pans (Revere), but the "clips" do not quite open wide enough for my newer AllClad...they are much thicker and the clips barely fit. Overall, it will work fine for what I need.

I bought this as Christmas gifts and ended up buying one for myself as well. We were initially worried that it would only fit on one size pan but we tried it on a small, medium and large pot and it fit all of them perfectly with no gaps. Works great! We used it for straining boiled potatoes and it was strong enough to hold the potatoes without gapping or spillage. So happy to find this product!

This really works. I wasn’t sure it would but it does. So much easier to use & clean than a colander, it works best with two or three cups of food. I use it often and am glad I bought it.

I like the convenience of being able to use both hands to hold my pot when pouring out boiling water. But the strainer will slip off if you pour to fast so you have to keep an eye on that.

The idea is great but functionally, this product fails. It's difficult to strain the noodles as most are fall out from the sides. I would not buy this again or recommend it.

I like it for washing rice. I still lose a couple of grains here and there, but nowhere near as much as without. I also like that I can hold the pot with both hands and drain as my wrists are weak.
