It felt so good on my granddaughters violin, I ordered one for mine. I had a different style that was uncomfortable. I loved this one on hers so I bought myself one.

I recently got back into playing the violin after a long time, and needed to get a new shoulder rest. This one does a good job at supporting my chin/shoulder while playing, but it is definitely made of cheap material (as expected for the price). This is a good option if you are looking to get back into playing recreationally/occasionally but it does slowly grow a bit more uncomfortable over long periods of playing.

So-so product. A little flimsy. Might be better if not collapsible. I've had to buy several rests to find out for myself the kind that works best for me.

I'm not sure about the rosin. I have a favorite brand so I won't use this. The practice mute really does the trick though. I really bought the package for the shoulder rest and Ive used it for a week now and it seems ok.

Its comfortable and is just what I needed for my new violin.

Works as described. Not sure it's the most sturdy or the most comfortable but hey I didn't pay that much so wasn't expecting much! I'm an older person wanting to learn to play the violin, and not sure how committed I will be so I don't want to sink too much money into this hobby.
