Jaras JJ-216 Pocket AM/FM Radio Built in Speakers & Headphone Jack FM Antenna

Nice pocket radio with clear reception up until you get up and walk away. This is one radio you’re going to have to fidget with for a few seconds while listening to it from a distance. ( Much like the older antenna radios.) The volume overextends the speaker when turned up even to the halfway point and using the Headphones are about the same. . Although it’s still nice enough to have around for a classic dial radio at the right price and I can hear it clearly a good 20ft away. I actually like it! May not be great for some at the campsite , however this would be ideal for a stationary fishing radio or even hiking up the trail… because the reception last longer when it’s next to your body- instead of fading in and out after walking away.

Used it on and off for 2 years and the only "positive" thing I can say about it is that it hasn't died yet even though I wish it would.I can't quite understand how this tiny unit with crappy speaker eats up batteries like crazy when using it just to listen to talk shows on AM.Reception extra weak too.NOT RECOMMENDED.

It is worth the 8 bucks I paid for it. Both the tuning wheel and volume wheel are a little difficult to get set where you like them. A slight nudge either way on the wheels will get you bad reception or incorrect volume, but once you get used to that, it's workable. I've been impressed with the battery usage by it. I often listen to the radio 4 to 6 hours 3 or 4 days a week, and I am still running on the first set of batteries I put in the radio after about a month.

I really like this little radio, the only reason I gave it three stars is because the picture is a littlw deceiving being that I expected this item to be a little bigger. It's good to have around though if there is not other means to get a station.

I honestly love this radio! It's nice looking, fits into my pocket perfectly and it's loud! The only downside is that it is somewhat difficult to get a good connection to the radio stations, but other than that, it's really good for its cheap price!

For it s size this radio offers very clear sound. I personally like the green radio station light that shows when the station is tuned in properly. The controls are easy to use. By that I mean I have owned other pocket radios and the tuning knob was difficult to turn and getting the station tuned in properly was hard to do. This radio for its price is the best I have owned.

Not so good dial small ok but very hard to tune into a station. Made cheap even for that price. plays very cheap it is 2016 should be a lot bettersound and should stay on basic stations it does not. however it is very cute, there are also 100 more just like it that are cute, same price range and have to play better than this! sorry not so good ; ( V

This is an awesome radio. It receives both AM-FM bands. This is the second one I have purchased (for a gift).I recommend it.
