Five Ten? No. Not really.
These shoes with an Adidas logo are not as grippy as my previous 3 pairs of Five Ten Freerider that didn't have an Adidas logo on them. The grip is good compared to a regular shoe, but bad enough compared to the prior Five Ten that I have demoted these from MTB shoes to casual wear only and brought my last pair out of retirement. This is a real disappointment becuase they claim that it is the Stealth S1 rubber compound that my prior shoes had, but it clearly isn't.These also didn't fit the same with the shoe being smaller than my prior 3 pairs. I had to go up a half size. The shoes are comfortable, look nice, and otherwise seem to be of good quality after two months of use.

Fantastic shoe
This is one well constructed shoe. Double stitching throughout. All materials are heavy and feel high quality. The tongue is well padded right where you want it. A wide toe box and great heel grip. The sole is extra grippy and clings to the pedals. It’s got a stable, stiff sole but is still very walkable, unlike cleats. You could wear them around town or to the gym. Overall a super high quality cycling shoe. Much better than expected.

Grip and Protection!
I suppose a pair of skate shoes can get the job done but these seem to be much better. Super grippy bottom and a rock solid build. I feel like if my foot struck something while riding I'd barely feel it.

I’m a convert
Switched from being clipped in to riding flats. My first experiences were pretty horrific. I was using regular hiking shoes and my feet were all over the place. After asking around, this was the brand that was highly recommended by most riders at the bike park. I noticed the difference on the first hit. My feet stayed planted on the pedals. The amount of grip was unreal. It’s amazing that a pair of shoes can change my riding, but it has. It’s only been 1 month, but I have nothing but love for these shoes and riding flat pedals. Never going back!!!

Great casual or freeride shoe
I've used these for 3 weeks now and they still look and work like new...I personally found them to be just this side of too small and ordered a half size up which fits perfectly. The Primeblue version uses recovered ocean plastics so I figure if I'm going to buy them anyway, I may as well help recycle.

Overall nice shoe
I like the look of these shoes and the eco friendly materials that they are made of. There is a lot of padding in the shoe to protect feet. The soles are good for platform pedals. They are a little roomy on the inside but my foot may be a bit narrower than some. So my feet do swim around in them a bit more than other shoes but not that big of a deal. The shoe is great for just wearing around casual as well.

Excelent product
Very comfortable and the main thing is that due to the rigidity of the sole, the pain in my feet was completely eliminated when using them compared to normal tennis shoes. Of very good quality and comfortable, they also give the feeling of great security due to their rigidity. Very happy with them.

Look and work great! Need a bit of toe padding.
Love the look and style of these MTB shoes. They really grip my flats nicely. I wish they had a little better padding in the toe - I can really feel the inside edge of the rubber. I added my own pad and it helps.

My favourite MTB shoes
So comfortable and grippy! I love these shoes. I recommend you try them out, especially if you haven’t tried MTB or skate type shoes for riding.
