Cheap price=cheaper quality
These were the worst panels I’ve ever used for painting, the actual face of them is so thin youCan almost see through it, plus it’s pitted/scuffed/cracked on every single one I received. 0/10 would not recommend. Especially if you’re a professional artist

Poor quality control
These are simple glued wood canvases, as such I expected them to be somewhat cheap quality. Unfortunately two of the pieces from the center of the pack was damaged when they packaged the canvases. Two other pieces had noticeable knots in the wood. The frames themselves are glued together so I suggest to fully seal them prior to use as the top veneer with likely separate from the frame due to moisture from your mediums and humidity. Additionally the frame corners are just glued so if you plan to use any heavy mediums on the canvas you may was to reinforce the frame itself. For my purpose these work. If you're expecting something ready to use then sell as art for a decent amount of money you'll likely need to work on the wood canvas before doing any art. If you want a ready to use wood canvas find a local carpenter, you may even be able to make out a swapped artistry services arrangement. If you just need them for an arts and crafts project and are willing to work with the limitations they work well.

Very Poor Quality
There were only three panels that were even useable out of eight...most had pieces missing, rough nasty edges, can't sand as they are so thin you can see right through them....haven't decided if I'm returning or not....DO NOT BUY....pay extra and buy quality. These are not useable for the project I intended them for. Very disappointed in the quality. :(

Great supports!
My preferred support for every medium except watercolor is wood or cradled Masonite board. (And I wouldn't even rule out watercolor with a stretched sheet of Arches waterproof-glued down on the surface, or with a thick coat of watercolor ground gesso applied.) I prefer a solid support over one that flexes, such as stretched canvas or linen, and if I work on wood I typically use cradled birch plywood. This pack of birch plywood panels is nice and economical. Sometimes I want to do a 3 or 4 part painting and these are great for that purpose. If I want the texture of canvas or linen I can glue it down on the boards and then gesso. If I want to do something that requires a smooth surface a few layers of gesso is perfect. These birch panels came square, finished well and any imperfections are covered easily with gesso. They were not perfectly uniform in color, however, since they are a wood product. These will also work if you are doing something with paint and stain on raw wood with sealant over top. The gallery wrap side/cradle is great if you don't want to frame your piece, yet is not so wide that you couldn't frame if you wanted to. One thing to note: If you are unfamiliar with painting on wood (or any surface that can warp with moisture) it is best to gesso the same number of layers on the backside as you do on the front side to keep it from bowing. I did a set of poured acrylic paintings (above) with these and one of them did bow despite 4 coats of gesso (but this was one I scraped several times and started over again, so kind of not its fault.) I gave it plenty of time to dry/cure and the bow came out so I could resin coat them to finish. These panels are quality enough that if you wanted a shadowbox painting you can create your art on the backside too. Very nicely made, versatile and inexpensive studio supply for any artist.

Poor quality.
Items arrived fast. However, the quality of this product is very poor. Only reason I kept them is because I had a 24 hour deadline that I needed them for. Out of the 8 in the package one was in good condition. Will not purchase again.

Very cheap quality not for fine art
These panels are very poorly made, very cheap and didn’t have quality check before being sent out. Half the panels are cracked or un usable. The sheet of wood on the front facing side is paper thin and will snap/crack when any slight pressure is applied. These are not functional and I have no idea how this company is charging money for this

Not as advertised
Only got 7 not 8 as advertised. I needed all 8... now what?

Bad quality
5 out of 8 panels had cracks, chips, were uneven or peeling. I wouldn’t waste my time. For a little more you can get better quality.

Mine were all good
First time buying cradled panels, the pack I got were all great. A minority of reviewers had issues with damage / quality control, but I decided that at this price it was worth a punt, I will buy again. hope they do bigger ones!
