Easy Hood Case Compatible with Canon EOS R Digital Camera, Anti-Scratch Soft Silicone Rubber Housing Case Shell Protective Cover Skin Protector Guard Shield (White)

I was a little skeptical about this cover. But I really needed one. I was doing photography for a rafting company and when I'd be in the outdoors, I would need to put my camera down and didn't always set it down on my backpack. I usually had nothing but rocks around me. I didn't want to scuff up my camera. Its pretty easy to do outdoors on rocks with very little movement. Glad I got this cover for my Canon R.

A beautiful silicone case, fits very snuggly to my canon eos r, pleasant to the touch. I liked the feel and the firm grip on the camera. The case is sturdy and i feel my camera will be protected from scratches and bumps. All buttons match.

The cover is really good but mines came defective, around the dile area was pulled off & not snug, good product though.

I like the price and the protective aspect of the case. However, it is very hard to read the buttons on the case. Similar to the camera, the buttons on the case should have white symbols on them corresponding to the functions. I'm a new user of my camera and I haven't learned all of the button locations. Using the case makes it almost impossible to quickly learn button locations and protect my camera. Again, the case does protect the camera but the buttons need to be marked clearly.

I was hoping I could use this instead of a case but the fit was really off. I have a canon EOS R7. If you are meant to use the dials and buttons with this on, I don’t know how that would work.

It delivers on its promise, fits perfectly and still holding up well.It won’t work with the grip unless you cut out the lower part. You might need to ensure tightening up the tripod slate attached to camera (if any) as the rubber creates a little gap. The same prints on the camera buttons are engraved on the case but better remember them as they can be hard to read in low light. Similar to most rubber/silicon material with rough and detailed surfaces, it requires frequent cleaning to get rid of those tiny particles. Such skins usually last forever with proper usage but I got another one as backup.

I’m clumsy and I easily bump my camera. This gives me confidence when I shoot and when I set my camera down somewhere. Usually my camera is clipped to my waste so I’m glad I have this around to add a layer of protection.
