Kinda bland but as far as for in a pinch, pretty good it makes sewage. It will keep ya alive.

I'd recommend skipping these. The problems here are largely (a) the packaging and (b) the dates. Nothing wrong with SOPACKO MREs themselves, but these aren't packed quite the same as the actual military ones made by SOPACKO. Half of my 10-pack came in clear, heavy-plastic, well sealed pouches. Those were fine. But the other half were in something comparable to something just a tad thicker than everyday Saran wrap. There also was some serious age on at least those 5, with the Pop Tarts and the bread simply unsalvageable and needing to be tossed out. Instead of these, get the US military ones in the brown packs ... they are better assembled, better packed (both outer and inner packaging) and will store better.

First, the product arrived sooner than projected, which says something in current times. I did not buy this product expecting it to taste like five star meal. The MREs are more than palatable. I will use while camping/hunting or emergency situations.

I received my package torn up but to my surprise nothing was missing. These MREs by no means are traditional. It includes a main, a pop tart, toostie roll, bread or crackers, apple jelly and only apple jelly, salt, and hand wipes. You may have noticed I didn't mention the FRH. That's because the FRH's in these MRE packages are trash. They either just don't work or get slightly warm and stay warm. I've tried everything from using less water than what's recommended to putting salt on the FRH which usually makes them explode from a super reaction. Nothing but duds in all 10. I contacted the seller weeks ago. Asked for replacement FRH's and nothing has come of it. The seller did respond once until I asked for said replacements. I'm pretty unsatisfied with this purchase. Go the extra miles and get some slightly more expensive REAL MREs. The only redeeming quality with this purchase was that I got one mocha protein bar, one rice and vegetables MRE main, and one Chilli Mac. I also noticed that it says these come with pepper on the description. There was non. I do not recommend this. Buy a different pack of MREs.

These are awesome!!

These are smaller than the regular mres they are a company that the military mres use. But this product is very lacking. It comes with very little per meal. And the meals make no sence at all the standard mres usually have some sort of snack an entree a beverage and a little dessert and most generally are connected somehow like chilli and cornbread or pasta and Italian spiced bread. But these sopako mres come with a snack and an entree and they make no sence at all. You will get a pop tart with like chicken pesto. And apple jelly. Very poor set up of meals. Will not buy again.
