I love this JF line for my thick wavy, colortreated hair that gets annoyingly bushy and frizzy in humid weather. I use this with the JF defrizz shampoo and conditioner and couldn't be happier. I only need a pump or 2, I apply to damp hair, work through, air dry, and I later I find I don't need any JF Secret Weapon Touchup creme (which is in my drawer at work, and I do like it but not as much as this product which seems more effective). The smell varies a tiny bit among the JF products but is always pleasant. The JF Dream Curls Styling Spray is also a favorite of mine (again, works well with JF de-frizz shampoo/conditioner), I adore the smell, the effect of the spray oil on my hair, however, I don't always feel like using a wet spray application in the AM (I put a towel on my shoulders to avoid getting spray on my work clothes and sometimes it gets on my face by accident). So, this pump is the easiest application (I have very rapid AM routine for makeup and hair) for a similar excellent effect, and I find it nicely manages my air dried waves without weighing down or straightening. The JF Defrizz Airdry styling foam is nice too, especially for summer, but so far I think the mousse/foam ranks 3rd of these JF styling products (after Beyond Smooth and Dream Curls Spray). I have tried many other brands' defrizz products, including leave in conditioners, primers, oils, mousses, and gels, and so far this is the best for me. Also super economical and easy to find.

I accidentally damaged my hair and it looked all dry and gross towards the ends and kinda straw like. I didn't want to cut my hair, so I used this to mask my hair at the ends. It worked really well for that! My hair actually looked normal and like the rest of my hair, so it did it's job. I used it on someone with curly hair along with their company's conditioner and a straightener. It didn't really make it straight. It was still frizzy and I even resorted to using more of this stuff. it didn't do anything. I'm giving it five stars because it did what I wanted it to do for my own hair and got rid of the frizz and straw of damage, but I wouldn't give it five if I was a person with curly hair trying to straighten it and smooth the frizz of natural hair.

Does have some moisture to it, but was expecting a bit more. It smells pretty nice though

I have been trying to find a way to tame the frizz in my wavey/curly hair and this does just that. Of course it didn't work the first time I tried in but it really is nourishing my hair in long time use. You also have to style your hair its not a type of product that you can just put on hair and leave your hair alone and think it'll work. There is still some leg out that needs to be done to get the tame hair but after that it maintains hair pretty well, so I am more comfortable with using styling tools.
