Depends on what paint you are going to use. Watercolors...NO! The paper has a glossy finish and the water would take forever to sink in or dry. If you were using ink or temple paint, it's fine. Hope this helps!

Q: Would this work for church fans?

I think so...it is pretty heavy weight but I could not get it to go through my printer, so if you are going to print something on the fans, it might not work unless your printer can do heavy weight paper easily. My printer is a small desk top printer and couldn't handle it.

Q: Satisfied customers, what printer brands and models do you use to print on this 100-lb cardstock? Hoping to print photo cards at home.

I have not use this paper in either of my printers (Canon 6220 and Canon Pro 100) for fear of jamming. The Pro 100 is quite a nice printer (8 ink cartridges and gives beautiful results) but the manufacturer recommends no more than 93# paper. I'm not techy enough to compare GSM and all the other standards. As a practical matter, I've used 80# paper successfully (rear feed tray) in both printers. That 80# weight should result in a lovely card. Hope this helps :-)
