This is awesome. Price is worth it. Lots of paper. Not flimsy like a folder.

I had ordered the diary planner a couple of weeks ago and after a week of waiting, the order was canceled without explanation. I ordered the exact diary planner again, and this time it came in.... damaged. It gave off an awful first impression with a beaten up, dented box. I thought nothing of it until I opened the box to find the diary was also damaged. I really think that mine was reused (and I ordered a brand new one too)! It was already dirty for some reason and the metal plate that the lock is on was crooked! Both the metal plate thing and the lock itself were scratched up! When I looked inside, I was very angry to find out that if you change the colors of the journal, the style changes too! It doesn't warn you of that, so let this be your warning! I had previously ordered the small grey version, and it was the best journal you could ever imagine! I was so happy with it! I filled up every page (of the small grey version), and so that is why I wanted to order another one. I figured I could try a different color, so I ordered the small black one. It is totally different and it just gives off the looks that a two-year-old made it! I hate to give this review such a harsh description, but it is 100% true! For everyone's sake, don't buy the black one! It is a complete waste of money, and time waiting on it! This thing is TERRIBLE!!!!! I wish I could give it a 0 star!

I threw out the box right away because it was covered in hearts (very girly). I could NOT find the notches no matter how hard I tried. We eventually got it open by trying random numbers -- only to find the password sheet inside the locked diary!It's *very* sturdy and durable and the lock is strong, but I would not give it as a gift because it's a total pain in the butt to open the first time.

I bought this journal as a diary. The journal comes as advertised, however, I wish it were just a bit bigger. It is quite tiny and thus it is kind of hard to write in. However, despite my misgivings about its size, it is quite sturdy and will require a bit of effort to open if someone gets their hands on it. Overall it is a pretty good journal to buy if you like privacy.
