I got this for subq fluids for my cat. Line is a little shorter. Does not screw needle into place. It did not cause a problem and actually the stop flow mechanism was easiest for my arthritic hands

The product has white plastic instead ID blue, and does not have a threaded lock on the tip (looks exactly like the photo posted by another reviewer). Value for the money is ZERO because I cannot use this device as per my intent when I bought it based on the photo in the listing. After reading even more reviews, I will not be trusting this vendor for any future purchases.
