Bought this for my nephew and for the price was not expecting too much. It came just and I added a leather shoelace so he could wear it around his neck. Big hit! He loved it and he is learning about how to use the compass, directions and will be able to wear it on his "adventures".

It just doesn't work and I didn't use it once. You get what you pay for with this sort of compass.
