These firefly lights are great quality. I would say they border on bright warm white along the length of the wire. The light output is good ( in the lantern) when strung out in and around objects, I would say it becomes a more subtle glow, and gives a very relaxing ambianceThey have really enhanced the lanterns and shelved areas. and the wire is hardly noticeable because it’s so thin, yet malleable to stay in any shape you desired. These lights would look stunning however you wished to display them, any time of the year.The battery life is pretty good, we have had ours on every night for the last week ( using the excellent timer function) and they still look good. I guess it depends on the quality of the batteries used and the duration that the lights are left on. They look pretty in the day time too, so you might want to stick up with those batteries, because ou won’t want to turn them off. The timer helps regulate power consumption with 6 hours on /18 hours off, and depending what time you turn them on, that will be the repeated start time ever day. Alternatively you can have them switched on and off manually when you want by sliding the switch on the power box the opposite side.Sure these lights are more expensive than their warm white counterparts elsewhere, but trust me, they are well made and come packed well with instructions and a timer function too. They are sooo worth it! I will definitely be buying some more. I have some amber ones on order, which I’m sure will be nice too, especially at hallowe’en.Many thanks

I bought two sets of lights from this supplier and am very happy with them. The lights themselves, while warm, are bright and perfect for where I needed them to be. The very best feature, however, is the timer. I don't have to worry about switching them on and off, that happens automatically. Another great feature was the price, really pleased with that too.

Used lights to light up an a Xmas reef. Petite style with thin wire meant easily concealed, pastel tones worked well, just the right number of lights to allow for a very attractive effect. Timer once set means no need to switch off manually.

Came quickly nicely packaged and look lovely along the fireplace. Settings work well

I bought 2 sets and both are working great. I've attached one set to the wreath on the front door. I love the timer function so I don't have to open the door each time to switch it on and off! I got the warm white which is a really nice colour, not overly orange like some. Very pleased and highly recommend!

Battery operated lights, can be on / off /on automatic timer which turns on for 6 hours then off for 18.Takes three AA batteries and when left on timer lasts for about four weeks (with the batteries we use) before they need replacing.I bought to pop inside the door of our electric fire to give a warm glow on an evening without using any electricity. Turns out the door on our electric fire doesn’t actually open!!!So I wrapped them around the pole of a floor standing reading lamp which was easy to do as the lights are in a wire. They are lovely.

Perfect set of small lights. Ideal for that fire type glow. Good value for money.
