Flavor:Thai Green Curry This dish will take you back in time to when Thailand was known as the Kingdom of Siam. The capital, Ayutthaya, was well traveled by the Moors then who favored the spicy dishes served by their hosts. The most popular of the dishes even then was the green curry with its deceivingly cool looking color. Alarmed by the strength of the spice, it was the Moors in 1350 that suggested that milk be added to the dish to ease the heat. Using the milk on hand (coconut milk) the dish was forever transformed resulting in the popular flavor known today. The sweet jasmine scented sponge cakes called puffy cups soothe the tingly feeling left in the mouth from the spices. This kit contains pre-measured non-perishables displayed in museum quality keepsake containers and a full color brochure. In the brochure you'll find: a fresh ingredient shopping list, easy to follow preparation instructions, a 'Bite of History', information about the spices and sauces, cooking tips, After Dinner Trivia, table setting suggestions and much, much more!

Not What Was Expected
This came beat up inside and out. The contents are good, but packaging terrible. This was a gift, so I placed the contents in a gift box I made myself.
