Great Pie Maker
This pie maker is so easy to use, light and compact. Made several types of pies and they’ve all turned out great. The included pastry cutter is so useful, right size every time. Very easy to clean and small enough to be stored in a kitchen cupboard. Means everyone can be a top class pie maker. Would definitely recommend.

Great kitchen gadget
Perfect kitchen gadget if you like pies. I’ve found there isn’t many decent vegan pies available pre made so purchased this to allow a bit of experimentation. As others have commented it is far easier to put the pastry discs in when the machine is cold, close the lid and give the cook time an extra 5-7 minutes from the stated instructions. The pastry cutters work well as the one for the base creates a fluted circle that can line the bottom part easily with no leakage whatsoever, and when the top disc is added the clamp down forms a perfect seal. Love it.

Makes professional-looking pies
The pie-maker makes excellent pies - we freeze any left-over sauces or stews to use as filling and buy frozen short-crust pastry from the supermarket...a quick wash of the top of the assembled pie with milk then 10 min in the pie-maker and it is ready. Quite a lot of grease comes out of the pastry, but easily wipes off the non-stick surface. Don't know how we managed without this!
